Hello, people of FanFiction. My name is writergirl64 and I am here today to bring you my new The Hunger Games SYOT. Here is the prologue. Thank you for listening.

KAYLA JENNER'S POV

"Enter," says President Lang.

I open the door and walk in. I have my plans for the arena, muttations and traps. This is my first year as Head Gamemaker, but I have been working as a Gamemaker for twenty years now. Still, I feel slightly nervous. I hope that the president likes the ideas. This idea has never been done before, nor has anything similar been done.

"Hello, President Lang," I say.

"Good afternoon. I trust you and the other Gamemakers have been working hard?" she asks.

"Of course, Mrs President. This year, we have planned something that will shock the audience and the tributes."

She looks impressed and motions for me to sit down. "Right, let's get started. What arena have you decided on?"

"Here it is." I show her my detailed diagram of the arena plan. She stares at it for a while. My heart is thumping. Will she like it?

She looks back up at me. "A chess board. How nice."

I breathe a silent sigh of relief. "Thank you, Mrs President. We hope to have more muttations by tomorrow. We do, however, have some ideas."

"And what would those be?"

"We are thinking that, since we will have a chess board as the arena, we should have mutts that go with that. For instance, we propose to have a huge knight piece that can come and kill the tributes."

"A very original idea. Nothing like this has ever been done. You have done very well, Kayla."

I'm very pleased. This has been such a difficult project to organise. In a way, this arena reminds the districts how much control we have over them. The Hunger Games are our game and their tributes must play by our rules. This is the board. Here, the game is intense and only the best will survive.

There was my first chapter. Now, I need you to submit your own tributes - the tribute form is on my profile.. I have done this before. But wait, this will be different. This will not be first come, first serve. You need to be as detailed as possible when filling out the form. Expand on everything. Be realistic as well.
