Ebony Dark'ness Dementia Raven Way stared at herself in the mirror, analyzing her figure with a satisfied twinkle in her icy blue eyes. The clothes that she had bought at Hot Topic the previous weekend hugged her slim yet curved frame perfectly. Her black corset and miniskirt accentuated her curves, while her black combat boots gave her a tomboyish edge. Her ebony black hair, with hints of purple and red highlights, framed her thin face (which she had applied copious amounts of dark makeup to), and hung down to her mid back.
She bared her teeth slightly to expose her canines, which were, unlike regular vampire teeth, straight and blunt. 'Damn', she cursed inwardly, disappointed at the lack of sharpness. Her mother had always said she was a late bloomer, but this was taking the cake.
With an affirmative nod, she exited her room in the Slytherin dormitory and navigated her way down the ever changing stair cases that Hogwarts was so famous -or infamous- for, along with admiring the dark and bone-chilling paintings that scattered on the wall, and made her way into the courtyards outside the main building.
It was sleeting again - not so unusual for a late January day - which meant that Ebony was frozen to the bone. The one good thing about today, she contemplated, was the lack of sunlight, which she had determined was the best way to capture the regal beauty of the Scottish countryside that surrounded the school. That, and, her skin would probably burn off and her body would disintegrate - one of the drawbacks to being a vampire.
There were many students outside, rushing to their next lesson, or sheltering themselves under the limited cover of porches that lined the exterior corridors. A group of third years, consisting of Hufflepuffs and Gryffindors caught Ebony's attention, as they stared and chattered their teeth. They all had concerned looks on their faces, and one young girl was removing her cloak, seemingly to offer it to her. Ebony had a natural disdain for many of these kinds of students, calling them 'preps' in her head. She scowled at the girl, and raised her middle finger at her. The third year retreated, and went back to her group, which then resumed the trek to their classes.
"Hey, Ebony!" a voice shouted, which made Ebony's ears prick up, and she turned to face the voice. Draco Malfoy, of all students, was walking up towards her, his cloak held up against the wind to protect his gelled back silver locks from the elements. They both smiled bashfully at each other, a gesture unfamiliar to them both. A growing blush was appearing on Ebony's face, and she was thanking herself that she had put on an extra layer of foundation.
"What's up, Draco?" Ebony asked, trying to maintain an even tone, which was difficult to do when faced with her crush.
"Nothing," Draco replied, with less confidence than he had when strolling over to her. They stood in an awkward silence for a few moments. But, just as he was about to open his mouth to ask Ebony something, they could hear her friends Willow and B'loody Mary coo and call her over. Ebony gave a half-hearted wave to the boy, and sauntered away.
AN: OK, this was kind-of a dare, and kind of a what if scenario. I, as a clearly skilled writer*, will attempt to rewrite this monstrosity of a fanfic, and will attempt to do so in the most serious way (meanwhile, I am cracking up/crying behind the screen). However, I will give credit where it is due, and credit the following people;
My Immortal (fanfic): Tara Gilespie (XXXbloodyrists666XXX)
Harry Potter franchise: J. K. Rowling(I am so sorry wizard mother)
*I am not the most skilled writer, and I don't aim to be one either; I'm just doing this for the lolz. Please review and like though, I really appreciate it!
