A/N: Okay, this is a re-do on a story I wrote a while ago. Apparently, a bunch of flamers decided that it sucked the first time, so I'm trying again. I do not own any of this, except for this particular plot, yada yada. And, by the way, this will not be perfectly in character. In order to write this story at all, I had to take them out of character. If you can't deal with that, tough. So far, I'm not writing about the actual date. I might think of doing it later. This is just a funny little side-story. Enjoy!

Knock! Knock!

There was a knock on the door, and Artemis, dressed in his best Armani suit, ran to the door. He quickly straightened his tie, and opened the door. The person standing there was dressed in a long, curvy, black dress, high heels, and her hair grown out, on Artemis' recommendations.

"Hello, Holly." Artemis said, breathlessly.

"Happy birthday, Arty." Holly replied.

Holly and Artemis were going on their first date, on Artemis' birthday.

They started a long, romantic walk through Fowl Manor's gardens, with Artemis thinking about everything he had planned.

Meanwhile, Butler and Foaly were talking with eachother, via communicator.

"Do you think they're okay?" asked Butler, worried because Artemis had made him promise not to follow them.

"I'm sure they are." Foaly replied, though he didn't seem too sure. Holly had made him disconnect all videocameras and such, so he was just as worried as Butler.

"Artemis is just so much bigger than her!" Butler continued. "I mean, he's a genius, sure, but he's still a teenage boy! What if he-"

"Artemis?" Foaly exclaimed. "You think Artemis is gonna be trouble? Do you even know how strong Holly is? How forceful she can be? She's also a girl, mind you! Artemis is the one we need to worry about!"

They both stared at eachother, thinking about what could be happening.

"We have to do something!" They both cried.

"I'll get the videocameras on Artemis working again!" Foaly said quickly, fussing with wires.

"I'll go find out where, exactly, they are!" Butler said, thinking about all of the angles in the gardens that he could hide.

"Let's go!"
