Halcyon: Chapter One
I know it's not over, baby I worked this out for sure
It's gonna be colder, now you've forced open the door
I know you better than I ever have before
I know you
I know you're a fighter
But you never fought for me when I was a shelter
So you're not heading home to me
We could be closer, we could be closer
We could be
When it's just us
You show me what it feels like to be lonely
You show me what it feels like to be lost
I take your hand for you to let it go
Let it go, let it go, let it go
When it's just us
You show me what it feels like to be lonely
You show me what it feels like to be lost
I take your hand for you to let it go
Let it go, let it go, let it go
It's gonna be, it's gonna be better

Falling Past the Veil
Something happened between Hinata and Sasuke as they both looked up at each other, Hinata was on her way to the Dango Shop to satisfy her sweet tooth, Naruto never wanted to accompany her, he always left her and went straight to Ichiraku's Ramen stand...Sasuke was living at the Uchiha compound alone.
She was sure he knew how to cook for himself, always had been on the run and now alone although Sakura visited frequently she supposed. It really wasn't her place to know since Naruto's old training group hardly interacted with each other at all any more. Hinata and Sasuke were both dating their respectable partners but at that instant, as she looked up into his obsidian eyes, she felt a shiver run up her spine by a look.
That look held so much, all the pain he went through, and all those years he had fought. Maybe it was because they came from a strand of relation, dating far back before the Village was created, but a shift happened. Sure they had interacted with each other during the Fourth Shinobi War, out of duty, having to properly plan and assess the enemy but they hadn't really paid attention to one another. Although there was a pull of some sorts between them. That might have been the reason they tried to ignore each other.
A blink of Hinata's eyes and the spell broke, Sasuke's eyes snapped away from hers to something behind her, dropping his bag of groceries, he began making seals. Hinata turned wide eye'd and time seemed slow all around them. The world around them fade and she saw what made Sasuke act. A rouge Shinobi dressed in black was running straight for her and already forming seals, she recognized that headband. Toneri Otsutsuki would get his revenge, a follower most-likely came for her in blind rage after Otsutsuki's defeat.
Because his eyes showed the Tenseign, a more advanced and potent form of the Hyuga Clan's Byakugan, which controls the good and the bad, the forces beyond their world...the forces that had made the moon nearly crash into their world, and now with eyes closed he finished with the seals, he'd opened another Dimension. The Shinobi put to fingers to his lips, opened his eyes. It was to late to stop it.
A blinding light lite up between them, opening a rift into another dimension, pulling both into the black swirling abyss. Hinata's screams were silent as black hole sucked up all the light, all sound and feeling along with it, then with a vibrating boom; She saw Sasuke being dragged in, she afterwards. They both disappeared from the Shinobi's Five Elemental World.
Hinata had that feeling of falling, as she opened her eyes slowly. All she saw was blackness but the falling was inevitable, there was no sound but the feeling was cold. Slowly turning her face towards the right. There Sasuke was, falling beside her with his eyes closed, he must've been knocked out because he had shield her as the Tenseign had flown towards them.
"Sa-Sasuke..." She whispered, lifting her hand slowly towards him, fingers touching his black poncho, she could barely feel little energy as she clamped her delicate fingers around the soft poncho and grabbed a whole.
As they grew closer and closer to the ground, she saw that the earth was round, different continents were so vast in size and the ocean was enormous that it covered most of this earth. This wasn't where they belonged.
Another explosion sounded around them as they hit the earths atmosphere, a blinding light made her close her eyes shut, the fear was so strong in her that she used her other hand to grab onto Sasuke, wrapping her arms around him as they fell even faster towards the unknown. Burying her head into his chest and shielding her face from the glimpse of the world below them, they were like falling stars heading for the ground. The impact would be damaging.
Waiting for the painful collision, she felt what was suppose to be the ground and everything seemed to go into slow-motion once more, waiting and waiting for the pain to hit. She finally opened her eyes, they had formed a crater that centered around them. Yet they hadn't touched the ground, slowly what had held them let them down gently.
Hinata burst into tears still clinching onto the only person that was she was left with, they were somewhere far far oh so very far away, this world was not their own...she wouldn't be seeing any of her friends or relatives.
'Hanabi, Naruto...what would they think? Surely the Villagers had seen them disappear. Would they somehow be able to make it back to...to their world? What if this would be forever?' She felt herself panic even more.
"Well hello my child... what ever seems to be that matter?" A wise voice asked her, she looked up out of the crater, there stood an aged man with a full white beard, glasses and a pointed hat...reminding her of Naruto's nightcap, his robes were different from what her father wore, robes the color of Gray and Silver.
"We-We..." She trailed off looking down as Sasuke beneath her, he still hadn't woke up. To dazed to even question the strange man's presence. "I...We were attacked in the Street! And Sasuke-Sa-Sa..." She trailed off again, looking down at him.
"He Saved...and...the blast...darkness was...saw...ocean...thought...die!" She hiccuped through more tears, not making any sense from the sheer panic as she clinched tighter to Sasuke's poncho. What would she do? How could she be here all alone? What if he was dead? She couldn't go on if he was because, well, what would be the point. All the things they accomplished thus far and in life, winning the war, finally getting what they always wanted and yet here they were. Cast into another world on the other-side of this Universe.
"Oi...Hinata, Are you trying to suffocate me?" Sasuke's voice asked weakly, his eyes opened to glare at her.
Hinata's head snapped towards him, almost causing herself a whiplash, she immediately let go. Squealing happily and hugged him.
"I thought, um...well, I-I-I though you were dead! A-And I though I would be a-alone b-but your alive! I-I am so h-happy!" She cried even harder and buried her face in his chest.
"Well my dear, it looks as if the stars smile down on you this day. I was told this would happen. You are now in the Veil my dear." The old man spoke.
Hinata helped Sasuke sit up, he looked at the surroundings and summed it up just as Hinata had.
"The Veil?" He asked and slowly stood up
"Yes, is the barrier between the land of the living and the land of the dead. One cannot travel freely between two worlds, this is a one-way trip. It seems the fates have picked both of you out of thin-air...you are stuck here on this Earth, until you figure out a way or this 'Fate' of yours decides to take you both back to wince you've came..."
"And just who the hell are you?!" Sasuke hissed glaring at him.
"My name is Albus Dumbledure. And I feel that you need my assistance." Dumbledure said smiling at the two of them, a twinkle in his eyes.
