I was totally screwed. I don't know what made me think that I could take on the Gods. I was a fucking level FIVE! Now, I was cornered by two Ghost Gods dealing jackshit to them. This damned Thunder Katana was shit. At least, compared to these fuckers. I was going to die. There was no doubt about that. I was a dumbass for trying to kill them. I could hear the rush of the bolt of spectral energy rushing to me. Then, I heard someone grunt in front of me. It was a Knight. I could tell he was very experienced or at least skilled because of his armor, it was dyed jet black with a pure white shield. He was blocking the shots.

"Alright you motherfuckers, prepare to die!" He ran at them with his sword, but the two ghostly apparitions disappeared immediately. Standing behind the fading ghosts were two people. There was a sorcerer. I could tell. He was holding a wand and scepter on his belt. His robes were dyed silver with a silver cloak. The next was a rogue. She was wearing completely red and black bandana tied around her mouth. She held a dagger in her hand, dripping with an acidic green poison glistening against the barren, black, mountainous region of the God Lands.

"Sorry, beat you to it," the rogue said.

"You sons of bitches," the knight laughed.

"Get it right you retard… I'm a daughter of a bitch and a bastard," the rogue corrected in a matter-of-factly, yet teasing tone.

"Language please," the sorcerer asked kindly in an overly sarcastic voice.

"Please, I've heard you curse before Magicks," the knight retorted, laughing.

"Yes, I believe saying 'fuck' and 'shit' after I have been struck rather forcefully by a Grand Sphinx is very inappropriate. My life is entirely at not risk," he sighed.

"Ah shut up you half-assed excuse for a sorcerer," the rogue said.

"You failed to vanquish the sprites in the Sprite World with your puny, sorry excuse for a dagger whereas a bolt of lightning from me successfully eliminated eight within a single blow," the sorcerer said smugly.

"Oh yes, that, the time you were struck by a Native Sprite God, didn't Shadow have to come save you?" the rogue raised an eyebrow.

Underneath the hood of the sorcerer, which concealed his eyes, leaving his eye color a mystery to me, I could see the was taken aback, unable to come up with a come back.

"At least I've beaten the Crystal Prisoner!" the retorted.

"HAH! What happened to your vocabulary Grand Sorcerer?" she sneered, poking her finger on his chest.

The sorcerer's half visible cheeks flushed and he pointed his wand at the rogue. "I dare you to speak that phrase again, thief!" he growled.

"Oh I will, wizard!" she pulled out her dagger. Then the Knight stepped between the two.

"OKAY! That's enough out of you two! We are in the motherfucking God Lands, this is not the time for one of your fights!" he bellowed. Bad mistake. Immediately, a Leviathan reared its ugly head.

"Good job fucktard," the rogue growled.

"Typhoon, you let us deal with this, Wind and I'll take out this fucker," the sorcerer commanded.

"I thought I was the leader, besides what will I be doing?"

"Making sure the dumbass doesn't die," the rogue insulted me. I finally snapped out of my funk.

"HEY! You can call that bastard a fucktard, bitch, asskisser, a cocksucker or an asshat but you will not call me a dumbass," I growled.

The sorcerer stared at me, "I do not suck cocks and I can quickly dispatch you now so you watch your tongue young lady before I magically remove it!" he said his voice seething with venom more painful that what was possibly on the rogue's dagger. I flinched. He turned over the Leviathan hissing. The rogue and sorcerer ran at the snake. The rogue disappeared immediately under a clear, yet visible cloak. The sorcerer drew the snake's fire, countering the blue bolts with his own bolts from a crystal blue wand. I saw slashing being made on the Leviathan as it roared and a final bolt of lightning shredded it's body, causing it to wisp away. The sorcerer had taken a few hits, he seemed okay but limped back slightly as the rogue strode back confidently.

"I did the most damage and I didn't get hit," she said happily.

"Yes, while I drew the cannonfire you imbecile," he growled low.

"Yep, but I still did the most damage," the knight sighed at the rogue.

"Wind, I could care less, honestly, of all the days for Gash to get hurt," he mumbled.

"Uh, well, I guess I'll thank you and get going," I said.

"You know, we don't have a katana user in our guild yet and the fact you managed to survive this long in the God Lands proved something," the knight said to me.

"W-What?"

"T-Typhoon, you're not seriously suggesting that we accept her into our guild," the sorcerer said in shock, "Sure she survived, but of sheer dumb luck."

"Hey, I managed to dodge the attacks until I got cornered," I defended.

"My point exactly you got cornered. I thought they taught adventurers to never get cornered. Of course in the shore, there's less danger, but in the God Lands? There is no chance," the sorcerer scolded.

"I'm the leader and I say she has potential."

"Do you now?" the sorcerer asked. I can tell he was raising his eyebrow.

"Yes, I do, I think she should join. She'll need some training, but I'm sure you'll both be glad to pitch in right?" he asked testily.

"Sure, girl's a ninja and speed's my game," immediately, the rogue appeared next to me placing a hand on my shoulder. I saw her shaggy, dirty blonde hair and clear blue eyes. "You and I are going to be great friends."

"Magicks?" the knight asked.

"I'm a magical user and unless she can pick up a spell book and impress me with magic, there will be little I can teach her," the sorcerer turned and walked back to the Nexus via portal.

"Don't worry," the knight said comfortingly, "he's not usually this bad, he's typically less crabby."

"Yeah, you decided to separate him from Shadow," the rogue laughed and led me back to Nexus.

Our main character's been invited to the Eternal Defenders, but her relationship with Mister Magicks seems rocky, but who knows what could happen. She seems to be happy but her name will be revealed soon.
