I Didn't Know I Would Love You

A/N: Another little idea of mine, I apologize for spelling errors and grammar, I am really tired, but I had to post this.

Azar laid back in his bed, the snores of the Iron Bull who was asleep next to him brought a faint smile to the elfs face. He looked over at his lover and reached over and traced one of the scars with a finger. He laid his head down on the mans chest and wrapped an arm around his middle.

As he laid there, he thought back to when he first met the Iron Bull on the Storm Coast, he remembered watching the man tear through those Vints like they were nothing. He had felt attracted to him then, even before he knew what kind of man the Qunari warrior was.

Once he had gotten to know the Qunari he fell hard and fast, the elf shook his head with a smile as he remembered how smitten he was with the horned man. He wondered what the Bull must of thought of him back then.

Azar chewed his bottom lip as he remembered when Bull finally came to him, he trembled at the memory of the man towering over him, thinking this man could snap him like a twig...but he didnt. His eyes closed as he remembered the gentleness of his touch, the way his voice got an edge to it that demanded obedience.

He lightly traced the scar on Bulls chest, smiling as he thought of the soft tone Bull saved just for him, the tone that made him calm down almost immedietly. He rested his hand flat on the Qunaris chest, feeling him breathe and his heartbeat, he let it rest there, his eyes closing.

They had been through a lot, but they came out on top and proved everyone who doubted their devotion to each other wrong. That thought made him smile a bit wider, kind of like when he kissed the Qunari in front of everyone, just to make sure they knew his choice.

He was pulled from his thoughts by a large hand covering his a soft voice breaking the silence, "You are thinking again, Kadan." The man rumbles, his voice rough from sleep.

Azar sits up and looks down at him, "Thinking of good things this time." He says, his voice just as soft. He smiled playfully, "I was thinking of when I first met you and how I must have looked to you." He says.

The Bull just chuckles, "I thought about you the same way I do now, but I dont think I planned on this." He says, sounding thoughtful, this caused the elf to cock his head to the side questioningly.

"What do you mean?"

The Bull looks at him and cups his cheek smiling as the smaller man leaned into the touch, "I didn't expect to love you." He says, his voice soft and gentle.

Azar kissed Bulls palm and got that playful smile again, "Going soft on me, Kadan?" He teases, using the phrase Bull did after the Masqurade, that caused the man to laugh and press a kiss to his elfs head.

"I think I have rubbed off on you." He says, shaking his head, but smiling some.

Azar snuggled back against his side, "You wont hear me complaining." He says, yawning wide and letting himself finally relax, the sound of the Bulls heartbeat lulled him to sleep.
