Dean sat on the hood of the Impala, her heat seeping through his jeans. He leaned his back on the windshield, tipping his head over the top to rest on the roof. Dean was just so damn tired. The Summer sun lit the field with a golden glow. He closed his green eyes and let that glow envelop him as well. He heard the cacophony of a murder of crows flying overhead and a small smile brushed the corners of his lips. Dean felt a sort of kinship with the highly misunderstood creatures. But unlike him, they were never lonely.
