The Last Dagger. That is what they call me. I was orphaned at age 2. I lived in the streets as a beggar and as a thief until about one and a half years ago. I learned how to live life by myself, but I was captured. Why? I still don't know. The scientists at this lab are always testing me, and always are amazed at my performance. Why? Again I don't know. I'm stuffed into this room, and every now and then someone else is stuffed into the same room as me. I don't know where they go, but they usually disappear after several days. Only other people in the room are on the bunks below me, there's Shaylor, Shay for short who is 7. Blitz, who is 16, like me. And Kreig, who is Blitz's best friend and only 2 years younger. Then finally there's Lage, the oldest, at 18. This is my story.
