Author's Note: This one is a continuation of my previous drabble 'Always and Still' and while it is not required to read that one to understand this one, it would probably be a good idea.

Timeline: Season Four

The explosion that ripped through the building flung Dean forward, causing him to ram his brother's shoulder into the wall beside them. Immediately, small cracks appeared in the weathered wall and stretched upwards and out. The hunter's sharp green eyes latched onto the splintering wall.

Laying Sam on the ground, Dean stood and wildly began to kick at the wall. Wood and aluminum flew out of the hole he created. Swiftly turning back to an unconscious Sam after the hole was big enough to squeeze out of, the older man wrapped his arms around Sam and pulled them both out through the opening. Falling to the wet grass outside, Dean only managed to pull his brother and himself out of danger before giving into the darkness.
