Its been a long day.I double shift on a rough cafe and they're getting top of that Danny won't stop calling him a cupcake(he doesn't mean it,but its kind of annoying,he can't help it if he doesn't like the cold),Hawkes yelled at him because he if super stressed and Adam happens to be an easy target,and Stella and Mac are arguing so you could cut the tension with Sids Adam wants to do is go home,play guitar hero until he ruptures his own ear drums and then sleep until lunch time he's so tired maybe he'll just have a nap now...

"ADAM!"

"I wasn't asleep Mac!Honest!I was just er,um,testing how hard the desk is?"

"I'm not mad at you Adam,I was just coming to tell you that your shift finished 10 minutes ago,and that Sheldon Hawkes is looking for you."

"Oh,er,thanks Mac i'll just wait for the results to come through and then i'll go"

"No its ok,Stella says she will stay and wait for the results,you can go home."

"OK,thanks Mac,see you tomorrow."

"see you tomorrow Adam."

Mac smiled as Adam left,running up and thanking Stella as he was daft,immature,funny,brilliant,dedicated and totally mad but they all loved him the poor Adam,what with Danny and Lindsay teasing him,Mac and Stella taking out their feelings for one another by overworking him and glaring at him and Sheldon yelling at him and generally blaming him for the faults of the universe earlier that day,the kid really needed a hoped Adam wouldn't notice they switched him to later shifts,otherwise he make them switch was the thing about Adam,he was so he knew other people were sacrificing their lie-ins for him,he would come in early would give and give until he had nothing left and Mac thought that people needed to start giving Adam something watched as Stella smiled at Adam and told him bluntly to go home because he looked like simply grinned back as Sheldon ran over to him and immediately told him it didn't matter and asked if they were still grinned and told him of course they were. And then Adam stepped into the elevator and went home,all thoughts of ruptured ear drums happily erased from his mind.
