I paced back and forth anxiously in our practice room.

"Stevie, pacing will not help Zander come quicker." Kacey told me. I nodded, biting the skin around the sides of my thumb.

"I know, I'm nervous," I admitted. Kevin, Nelson and Kacey gasped from behind me, which made me glare at them.

"Who are you and what have you done with fearless Stevie?" Nelson said, stepping away from me.

"Keep doing that and I'll introduce my bass to your face," I smirked, picking up my black bass and holding it above my head before placing it back on its stand. I quickly turned around as I heard the door open. I was a little let down when I saw Grace walk in.

"Grace that's the third time you've walked in in 30 minutes I think you're giving Stevie anxiety," Kevin told her.

"Oops, I forgot you're waiting for Zander," Grace pouted, but her eyes lit up when she seen Nelson, "Hey Nelson!"

"Hey Grace," Nelson waved awkwardly. He and Grace had been dating for 9 months now, and he still hadn't got his head around the fact he was in a relationship with a perf. I'm not the type to find things cute, but Grace and Nelson are an exception… slightly.

Suddenly Kacey screamed, making us all jump. She held her phone in the air.

"ZANDER'S ON HIS WAY IN!" She shouted. I squealed and began to rush out the door, flying straight into someone.

"Ow, watch where you're…" I trailed off when I realised I was staring into familiar brown eyes.

"Hey baby!" Zander said, pulling me into his arms. I wrapped my arms tightly around his neck, making our friends 'aww' behind us.

"I missed you," I mumbled into his shoulder.

"I missed you more," He whispered, pressing his lips to the top of my head.

"I'm not letting go," I giggled, tightening my grasp.

"It's okay, me either.." He said.

I'd never felt happier to be reunited.
