AN: A Little Note

Nattikur's fingers lingered above the keyboard. She seemed to be rather unusually hesitant. She looked at the bright screen in front of her, then back down at her stiff fingers. It was very rare that Nattikur was unsure of what to say, and so she was still rather unsure of how to deal with this situation.
Suddenly her fingers were a blur, moving across the keyboard at the fastest speed she could reach. Then she stopped, her lips presing together into a hard frown. Sighing, she dropped her finger on the return key, deleting everything she'd just written. It wasn't right, it didn't work. She knew what was happening, of course, and she hated it. She relaxed her back, falling into her chair, and groaned.
"Writers block," she murmured, her eyes rolling.
Finally she decided to admit defeat and shut down her word document titled
Blue Moon Chapter Six. She knew from experience that when she wrote during writers block, her writing was atrocious. So instead she decided she'd do some homework.

This continued for days. Whenever she opened up the document again, her writers block just seemed to return. It didn't matter where she was, what music she was listening to or what mood she was in, she just couldn't seem to find the right words for any situation. It wasn't until Friday night when she realised how long it had been since she had updated. She was in the middle of writing her geography essay at the time and so, although she wanted so desperately to apoligise, she decided to finish her essay first.
Time rolled by and Nattikur was soon called for dinner. When she returned to the computer, she'd completely forgotten about her plans to apologise.

At one o'clock on Saturday morning Nattikur finally remembered. She turned her computer screen back on, logged onto her FanFiction account, and loaded up a new document. In it, she began to type a long explanation as to why she hadn't updated.

I felt so guilty, she typed, thinking about how much I wanted some people to update their stories. I realised that some people might just feel that way about Blue Moon, and I wasn't updated at all. It wasn't like I didn't want to update. On the contrary, I wanted to write that story more than ever, but I simply couldn't. It's hard to explain writers block. You have to experience it to fully understand.

Nattikur shook her head and took a deep breath. She used her mouse to scroll down, searching for the save button beneath the document edditor. Then, hesitantly, she moved her curser over it and clicked, her teeth grinding against her bottom lip and she waited for the screen to load, breathing a long, loud sigh of relief when it finally did.

Hm. Well, I hoped you liked that. It's not great, because my creativity seems to be limited nowadays, but it's something. I'm going to try and update Blue Moon soon. Meanwhile, I might write a few more poems or short stories, but I doubt it. I'm going to try my hardest to concentrate on Blue Moon.

Also, I have recently become a staff member of the community All Human Fanfics!. Check it out, if you want.

And lastly, I just wanted to link you to my non-FanFiction stories portfolio.

Yeah, I think that's it. Uh. So, I will try my hardest to write lots more, just for you guys.
