Ishimaru attempted to remove the boards from a window in his dorm. He has tried this many times before, never succeeding. He began to think about using the tool kit he was given, but then remembered that he had somehow lost it. He was too scared to go and ask a classmate to use theirs, they might attack thinking hes going to kill them. That would also, be against school rules. He then sat on his bed, attempting to forget about the death of his friend Mondo, when he saw something out of the corner of his eye. There was a butterfly sitting on his desk, how it got there no one knows. Its wings had a beautiful combination of colors, with a sky blue edge.
Ishimaru remembered the color of the sky, not even he knows how he remembered that, the students have all been locked in here for so long, it was nice to have a new living creature in the school. He extended his finger for it to land on, making clicking sounds as if he was calling a dog. The butterfly soon responded, flying over to Ishimaru and landing on his extended finger. Its wings reminded him of Mondo's hair, they were long and cone shaped. Oh how he missed Mondo, but at least he has Chihiro. He decided to name the butterfly Mondo, but he hesitated before doing so. Naming a creature usually results in ownership of the creature, which would be against the school rules. He did it anyway, friendship and love is more important than rules. Though he regretted it a bit, he was glad he had a friend.
