Yugi, Yami, Anzu, Marik, Marlik and Joey were at his and Bakura's house when he announced that he had won The All Excepences Round Trip With Room And Bored To Egypt For A Week Contest. They turned to see Bakura laying across the armchair facing away form the others. He had changed a bit since the end of Battle City. For one he had cut and dyed his hair so it looked like it did when he was a tomb robber after being called a girl too many times. His attitude had also changed, he had not tired to steal the Millium Items for a while and had ignored any insults or threats that came his way. It seemed like he was in another world to Ryou. "What do ya' mean you're not goin'!? What are we goin' do wit the other ticket?!" Joey yelled, but Bakura simply looked at him and said "I do not know. But I am not going back to that hell hole." While Joey and Bakura bickered, Yami walked up behind Bakura and quickly took the Millium Ring from the tomb robber's neck. "What the? Hey! Give it back Pharow!" Bakura yelled and tried to snatch it. But Yami was too quick and threw it to Yugi, who threw it to Marik, who handed it to Marlik, who Bakura was terrified of. Marlik smirked at the look of pure terror on Bakuras face as he put on the Millium Ring. "You can have it back once all eight of us touch down in Egypt" he said. Bakura sighed, mumbled something under his breath in Egyptian, and nodded in defeat, head hung.
