To Know the Future, One Must Understand the Past
Before the world had separated itself into what we know, life was a lot more…peaceful. No one fought over trivial matters as everyone depended on what one another could give. That was until the gods bestowed 3 visions.
One each showing Balance, Peace, and the Destruction of the world.
Not long after, a nation was born. One that soon became powerful enough to initiate a new era. An era of self-preservation, power struggles, and valuable secrets.
Centuries would pass as more nations began to establish themselves, imitating that which was first.
Haigakure no Sato [The Village Hidden in Ash]. The village that sank into obscurity.
It would be many years before the powerful nation would resurface in both name and legend. The village had long resigned itself to being neutral; silently providing surveillance to the world.
Silencing those needing to be silenced, saving those needing to be saved, and destroying that which need be destroyed.
Not that anyone would know that, of course.
As the saying goes, History Repeats Itself, and so once again the power of Haigakure will be needed.
But to what ends?
