Brittany's Private Pet Day

Brittany walked confidently through the McKinley High doors, a tight grip on a carrier in her left hand. Ignoring the queer looks directed at her she headed to her locker, gently placing the carrier on the ground.

"Uh Brittany," She turned around to Kurt tapping her shoulder. Grinning, Brittany said hello and slammed the locker door shut.

"Yeah hi, um what's in the cage?" He asked puzzled as to why Brittany had it at school in the first place.

"Lord Tubbington." She smiled opening the door. Kurt raised an eyebrow questioning her answer. When she didn't respond he asked why. "Because it's his first day of school, he turned 5 yesterday."

"Brittany, you can't bring a cat to school." Kurt stated matter-of-factly, taking the blanket, which covered the carrier, when she shoved it into his chest.

"Why not?" Brittany questioned opening the door and taking her cat out.

"Because it's a school Brittany, it's not practical."

"But Lord Tubbington needs to go to school or he won't be smart. And he can't go to little peoples' school because he doesn't know anyone there and Lord Tubbington doesn't make friends easily." Kurt rolled his eyes at his friend's explanation.

Brittany had her cat tucked into her arms slowly rocking him sideways.

"Kurt will you carry his carrier to Home Ec?"

"No Britt, you can't bring a furry animal into a room where people cook."

"Fine," She put Lord Tubbington back in his cage and pulled the blanket over. "I'll take him to Mr Shue. He likes cats, or was that turtles?" She shrugged.

"Goodbye Brittany." Kurt walked away leaving the tall blonde to stand awkwardly by the lockers with a 22 pound cat in a cage.

Brittany stood by the men's toilet, leaning against the wall, still holding the carrier, the door hanging open.

"Brittany?"

"Hi Puck." She smiled.

"What'cha doing?"

"Lord Tubbington is using the toilet."

"Uh alright," He sounded unsure and walked into the toilets. A minute later he burst out of the door.

"What the hell is your cat doing in the toilets?" He shouted.

"Going to the toilet Puck! Don't you listen? Although he seems to be taking a long time. Is he alright?"

"Brittany, your cat is in the guys toilet!"

"Yeah, you said that already. I don't see the problem. He sings a great solo, you'll see in practice!" She shouted after him.

"Yeah, sure." He responded sarcastically before disappearing around the corner. Brittany was confused as to why people were so bothered by her furry friend. 'They just don't know how great he will be in Glee Club,' she reassured herself before heading into the toilet to get Lord Tubbington.
