Treasure our time
From the heavens, puffy cold clouds give birth;
A unique frozen spiralling crystal,
Gravity brings each snowflake towards the earth,
Winter leads to spring, summer leads to fall.
As a flower I blossom in your light,
Your radiance is blinding like the sun,
I dread our separation, I blame the night,
But as time barrels on, the end must come.
Like paper I yellow and crease with age;
The thin sheet no longer up to the task,
Your sentimental words written on my page;
Worn and smeared, the ink is no longer black.
To preserve myself, our love against time,
I beg of you to change me and treasure this rhyme.
