A Kiss Good-Night

Author's Note: Hello, everyone! My name is Yuri! It's been a while since I last wrote a Ikaruga x Yomi fanfic, so I thought I might do another one. This couple really needs more love and I highly encourage others to write about the canon couples, too. So, I hope you enjoy this piece.
On a lovely evening, Ikaruga and Yomi are walking hand in hand towards Yomi's apartment. They had a wonderful dinner together at a fancy restaurant Ikaruga had recommended. And sure enough, as usual, Yomi had bought a bag of bean sprouts to eat with her meal. The dark haired girl just smiled at how her girlfriend is happy, even though it's kind of awkward for her to bring bean sprouts in the first place.
They continue on walking when Yomi looks up at the full moon above them.
"The moon looks so pretty tonight!" she comments.
Ikaruga looks up and smiles. "Indeed." She is glad that she is able to take her girlfriend out at this time just for them to observe the moon while they are walking.
The two arrive at Yomi's apartment, but stop to stare at the moon a bit longer. Both smiles remain on their faces.
"Hey, Ikaruga?" Yomi says after breaking the silence that's been going on for a few minutes.
"Yes, Yomi?"
"Thank you for taking me on this lovely date."
Ikaruga smiles and kisses her forehead. "No problem. I'm happy to be with you on this wonderful night."
Silence fills the air again.
"Ikaruga…"
"Yomi?"
The couple turns toward each other, with hands intertwined.
"I…want to ask you something." The bean sprout loving blonde blushes as she shyly looks down at the ground.
"Sure, what is it?"
"Can we…have a good-night kiss?" Yomi blushes even harder when she asks that question.
However, the answer is already given when Ikaruga's lips touch hers. Yomi closes her eyes as she returns the kiss, which lasts for 30 seconds before pulling away.
"You don't even have to ask, Yomi," Ikaruga says with a smile.
"Thank you, Ikaruga. I love you." The blonde hugs her lover while resting her head on her chest and sighing with bliss.
"I love you, too, Yomi."
A/N: I am SO sorry this is so short, but I just wanted to get to the point. I've read some Yuri doujins that are like 2 or 3 pages long, so one-shots can be short, too. Feel free to give out any suggestions, questions or concerns and don't forget to review! ;)
