KAGOME:
It was just a bad dream, Kagome woke up shaken. She couldn't believe what happened to 2 years ago was real: The boat accident. She didn't believe that she was living in the Hell house with Naraku.Kagome and her brother, Souta hated living there, but Naraku was their only living relative they had left.
Kagome couldn't wait for school to start. School was a week away. Kagome had been working secretly at night doing odd jobs. Every time she she came back into the house from work, Narku was always there to beat her. She always had her jacket on covering her bruises. She knew she had to work to provide Souta and her new clothes and supplies for school. All the money she saved over the summer came up to $1000 from working for $5.00 a hour, 5 hours a day, 5 days a week, for 2 whole months. She would have had $250 more but she spent that money on things that Souta and her needed like medicine, bandages, etc. Tomorrow morning she was going to sneak out the house and do school shopping and she knew when she came back home she would get a beating but she knew it would be worth it when she saw the smile on Souta's face the first day of school.
~*** A WEEK LATER***~
It was the first day of school and Kagome was getting ready. She putted on a pair of jeans and a white tank top she had bought a week ago. When she saw that Souta was done getting ready she threw on her sneakers and threw her hair in a ponytail. She went to the front door and grabbed her thin jacket from the hook. When putting on the jacket she felt a sharp pain where Naraku had hit her last night. The wound was fresh.
Kagome walked her brother to school and gave him a kiss on the cheek. She told Souta to be a good boy and don't get into trouble. Then she walked down the street where she met Sango. When Sango saw Kagome she gave her a hug, Kagome winced in pain. Then Sango said, " What's wrong?" Then Kagome took off her jacket and showed Sango the bruise that Naraku gave her. Quickly Kagome threw her jacket back on and started to walk with Sango.
They walked to school in silent. While walking in silent Sango screamed,"Hentai!!" because Miroku grabbed her butt. Sango turned around and smacked Miroku in the head several times. Kagome started to laugh. Inu- yasha came behind Miroku and said," You know you have to stop doing that. You ain't never gonna get a girl like that." Then Miroku said, " I couldn't help it. It was called out my name. Miroku , Miroku." Then they all started laughing except Sango who kicked Miroku(who is on the floor) in the head.
