Chapter Prologue.
Rain thundered around the gate as I approached the bridge, which laid down, the bridge was never down at night. I was set on the edge, Castle Town always slept at night and the bridge was always drawn, so as to not let in the stalchildren. As I drew closer a white horse flashed by with a woman and little girl riding atop. The girl looked back to me then twisted to throw something which landed in the moat, that encircled Castle Town, with a plop. Lightning flashed and there perched atop a horse of midnight sat a man with the most evil aura that I had ever felt. The man looked at me with so much hate that it took all of my will power to draw my sword and shield. A smirk so full of malice was then thrown at me, that and a power ball. The last thing that I remember of that dram was a voice saying 'Fly Navi, Fly, the fate of the forest, nay, the world depends on thee!'
"…Up, does the fate of Hyrule really hinge on this lazy kid?" Opening my eyes and focusing on the hazy fog that was my house, I saw a glowing ball of light. I scrunched my forehead in thought, 'Ball of light? A Fairy!' I quickly scrambled out of bed and caught the tail end of the fairy's monologue "I'm Navi the fairy, the Great Deku Tree sent me to be your partner and to tell you that you have been summoned to see him." I must have looked like an octorok with how my mouth was hanging open.

This had been floating around my head for a couple of days and I just had to write it. It initially was going to be a cross over betwixt hp and an oc Zelda char but I decided to start here first. And if you read my Riddick story I am slowly but surely getting the next chapter out.
