What would he become?
Would he watch his friends die?
Attend their funerals looking like the same annoying youth they, erm loved and remembered.
Would every one in the world be superheroes a thousand years from now?
Were there others out there like him?
Immortal.
He remembered waking up in the coffin.
Nathan floated around in a black abyss, saw a blinding flash of white and was smacked in the face with a gasp of breath like a freight train.
It was dark.
He was hungry.
Wasn't that unusual.
What was unusual however was waking up with your own smell of decay.
Now that was disgusting.
Nathan closed his eyes after hours of screaming and listened to The Cake.
He was immortal.
He was immortal.
Unable to die.
Permanently.
What messed up fucker came up that idea?
It was a pretty cool power.
But a horrible one.
Dying was...traumatic, in most cases.
Reliving it was not a pleasant experience.
There was a reason it was only suppose happen once.
All of the crazy immortal wankers Nathan had seen on cable television were thousands of years old.
He was still sixteen.
His journey had yet to begun.
Nathan rinsed under the sink and and gave a few cold splashes to his face.
A youthful face made of ivory.
Would he get married?
Out live grandchildren?
And great children?
Would there ever be that final chapter?
The Irish criminal shook the buzzing thoughts out of his brain.
"Best to the live in the moment, yea?"
He switced the lights off.

Just a little drabble I did for Misfits. I just discovered it and Nathan is my favorite character. So it led to a three season marathon in one day alone. I hope to contribute hundreds of more fanfics for Misfits but this was me getting my feet wet.
