Agent Emily Miller drummed her hands on the counter, a coffee mug with cooling coffee sitting a few feet from it. A photo lay before her, and she stared at it, trying not to cry. She wiped her ice blue eyes with the back of her hand, and shook her head. Crying would be of no use now. She looked at the picture.

The face was pale, with black rings around the familiar black eyes. The mouth was cut into a Joker style smile, one that would never close. Emily smiled. It was funny how Jeffery Keaton made you do that, she thought, even if it was only a picture.

Jeff Keaton, aka Jeff the Killer, was on the loose, murdering people in the DC area. Although she had wanted to stay as far away from the case as possible, Hotch, and the director, shoved her into doing it. The Director-Emily never said her name, and they weren't quite on speaking terms-claimed that the BAU could use the fact that Jeff would possibly come after the one living member of his family as an advantage. So here she was, studying a recent picture of him.

She brushed a hand through her waist long blonde hair and sighed. She had moved out of the Keaton house a little before Jeff had murdered her parents and younger brother, Liu. Scared that she would be the next target, she changed her name from her Keaton name-Jasmine Keaton-to Emily Miller and had started over. She glanced up as footsteps came towards her.

"What are you doing up?" A voice asked, and she turned to see Aaron Hotchner. "I told you to get some sleep."

"Says the man who can't sleep." Emily shot back, smiling. "And besides, I can't sleep worrying about Jack and….certain members of my family." Emily looked at the clock. She didn't really want to discuss the issue much. Hotch raised an eyebrow at her and walked over, grabbing the picture before Emily could protest.

"Jasmine Marie Keaton," Hotch started. Emily rolled her eyes.

"Smart allec, that's not my name." Emily said, taking the photo. "And I wanted to see my brother. We can't-"

A loud thump filled the apartment, making their conversation end there. Emily jumped up and ran out of the kitchen, Aaron close behind her. When they got to the front door, it was wide open…

Jeff smiled at his older sister. "Time to Go. To. Sleep!"
