An Endless Road
The rain pelted down hard on the glass of the windshield and Kurt pushed down on the gas a little harder. He was on an interstate in the middle of nowhere, and he was in a hurry. He was going well above the speed limit, but there were no other cars, and no towns for miles. Anyways, he had to find his boy.
"Shit. No service" He murmured. He had wanted to call Blaine, to make sure that he knew he was coming for him. To try and comfort him in some way. But his phone wouldn't let him and the rain just came down harder and harder,
He kept driving for what seemed like an eternity, searching the shoulders of the road for the curly haired boy. Blaine had been out in the cold for at least two hours by now, and as dusk was upon them, the sky was quickly getting darker and darker.
As Kurt was starting to get panicky for Blaine's safety, he finally saw a huddled figure standing on the side of the road, trying to block themselves as much as possibly from the sheets of rain falling down.
Kurt pulled his SUV over and jumped out of the car. The heavy drops of rain quickly slicked his hair down, soaking him almost immediately as he ran to Blaine.
Blaine had his head down, and he was thoroughly soaked head to toe. Kurt grabbed his arms and tilted his head, so his boyfriends eyes would meet his own. Light blue gazed upon hazel covered in a layer of unshed tears. Kurt felt a part of him break at the sight, as one tear slowly slid down Blaine's face. Then Blaine latched on to Kurt, wrapping his arms around his waist tightly as though he would float away and never come back if he didn't.
Violent shivers and sobs coursed through the boy's body and Kurt held him back equally as tight. He wanted to console the one he loved, who was shaking so much, but Kurt didn't know what to say.
"I can't believe that they kicked you out of the car and left you here." The taller one said lightly, though you could easily hear the hate laced in with the statement.
Blaine looked up at him with puffy eyes, and over a loud clap of thunder, with a small sad smile he said "I finally told them."
