A/N: Hello everyone, I know that many of you are probably pissed at me for neglecting you so much, for that I am sorry. But I have gone through some truly deep shit, one of them dealing with a family member's death. Well forgetting that, I wanted to re-write this because I remembered that this was not the entire plot line for this story. You remember I think I said that this came from a dream, well just recently I recalled bits and pieces of that dream, so I am going to be doing a lot of editing.

Chapter 1: Welcoming...or not.
The sound of the plane was everything that her mind registered at the moment. She had been in the airplane for six hours and that did nothing to better her pounding headache. She knew it was just a business trip, but that did not stop her from thinking about the risk she was taking by going back to her place of birth. She did not remember much before the age of 18, this was explained by her parents. They told her that she had suffered an accident and fractured her head in the process. Sakura didn't know why she was scared, perhaps of the unknown that awaited her the moment she stepped foot in Konoha.
So many things had changed that she had no doubt that majority of her old friend would not recognize her. Frivolity now enveloped her, she was not the sweet innocent girl that everyone had remembered. She was cold, unbreakable, and independent. That was not going to change anytime soon, she was sure of it. It seemed as if the day of the accident not just her head was fractured, but herself in all rhetorical sense.
The moment the plane landed, she picked up her luggage and took a cab to an apartment that she had rented. Sakura didn't want to go back to her house in Konoha: that place brought unpleasant memories to her. She had visited Konoha around four years ago and when she had spent the night at the home she had no memory of, she experience nostalgic dreams. Flashbacks that caused her grief and longing. Besides, she wanted her own private place, she didn't want the staff to bother her with stupid questions about her life. She had enough back with her parents, always making sure she was escorted everyone. As if the were protecting her from an invisible threat.
Sakura couldn't stay doing nothing for more than necessary. The following day Sakura headed straight to her office at Haruno Corp. Her office was cold, and dusty. She hadn't been there for ten years, it was a little nostalgic on her behalf. When she was little she used to play in her father's office all day. Her father Kizashi told her of how she would tell him, that one day she would take over the company.
Look at her now...she was the heiress of her family's company and was filthy rich. She never needed anyone...no one...
Papers were stacked high on her desk, she loved it. The work had become a aphrodisiac to her, the only thing that allowed her to think about nothing but work. Her family considered her a workaholic, but who cared. Definitely not her, up to this point her life had been decided for her by her parents. The school she had to go to, the friends she could have, even the person that would become her husband. Instead of fighting, she just let it be. Going against the flow of the river was hopeless, better to just go with the flow, right? She was so caught up in her work she didn't notice her secretary walking in.
"Ma'am there is a man here to see you, he says it is important." green emeralds looked up to see her secretary. She was a modest woman, in her early twenties just like herself. Her brunette hair pulled up in a tight bun, all employees required to be presented adequately. Image is the most important thing in a business, and of course never weakening in front of the competition.
"Let him in then." Sakura's voice filled with nothing more than mere dismissal. This man would only be taking her time, if he wasn't a business partner, or a future corporate buyer then anyone else could go to hell. Yet unconsciously Sakura allowed the man in. Moments later a tall dark male walked into the room. His sleek black leather shoes tapping the floor with a light thud. The black tux he wore tightly contorted to his muscled body. One hand in his pocket, he proceeded to the office."Why don't you make this quick please, I have things to do." replied the woman without sparing a glance to the man that had just walked in. Sakura wasn't in the mood to be bothered, she rather handle things quickly.
"I'm sure it is very important Miss Haruno." the deep barotone and dark sensual tone of the voice caught her attention, she looked up to see the man that had spoken her name.
"What is it that you are looking for?" his smile widened. He didn't expect less from Sakura. Sasuke could see her flaring anger, the way her eyes turned a dark shade of green. God he had missed her so much.
"I'm here to take back what belongs to Me." initiated Sasuke.
"There is nothing here that belongs to you!" spit back Sakura, she stood from her desk and slammed her hands on the wooden surface of it. Who does this man think he is, walking into her office like he owned it?!
"Sakura...I never wanted to leave you. Don't you understand?" responded Sasuke to Sakura retort.
" I don't understand...I thought you said this was important...Mr. Whoeveryouare. " she couldn't control her anger, in a matter of a few hours since her arrival she has already come face to face with a man that was acting like he knew her.
Sasuke slowly approached Sakura, but she stopped him." Don't!" she snapped her head at him. "Don't dare get a step closer to me!" Sasuke didn't understand what was going on with her, why did she forget his name? However, she may have forgotten his name, but deep inside her she was getting a tingling feeling. Her heart was racing and just his look her skin began to crawl with enticing attraction. Sakura couldn't comprehend what was happening. The situation had gotten out of her control in a matter of seconds.
"Sakura…It's me, Sasuke. Why are you acting this way?" Sakura never released her gaze from the onyx shades that contrasted hers. She wasn't giving anything out, Sasuke was sure that something was wrong, therefore before instead of flaming the situation, he chose the defensive tactic. "Before I go I wanted to offer you a proposal, a business proposal." Sasuke retreated away from Sakura's desk. His professional side taking over the raging beast inside him, the one that desired to ravage Sakura on the spot...or even on the desk.
"Well, Mr. Sasuke, I have not heard anything coming out of your mouth that is the slightest bit important. So do us the great favor of leaving my office before I call Security." Sakura pointed at the door, urging him to leave.
Sasuke was still in shock, his Sakura did not remember him. Now he was intrigued to find out just how much she had forgotten. "Miss Haruno, my name is Sasuke Uchiha from the Sharigan Corp. I was sent here to make a deal with you. I know that you are the only heiress to the Haruno Corp. Therefore it is on your behalf the well-being of your company."
Finally, this guy is speaking my language. Perhaps he was having a spasmodic moment and went berserk. That happens…so…
"This is better. You have my attention Mr. Uchiha." Her delicate voice sent chills down his back. This woman could bring down the Uchiha without touching him, Sasuke knew that only she had this effect on him. Yet the thought that he could loose her, it scared him to the core...what if already had?
"You know that your company is not in the best condition." this startled Sakura. She knew exactly what he was talking about, that was the reason for her trip to Konoha. Sakura swallowed and encouraged Sasuke to continue.
"Go on Uchiha." demanded Sakura. Not sparing another glance at him, she preferred to look out her panoramic window. Her back turned to the enticing man behind her.
"You and I join forces." Sasuke knew she wasn't easy to manipulate. She had changed so much since he last saw her. Her hair was set in a neat bun, she was wearing a brown tailored suit, the skirt tightly fitted to her thighs and tightly formed legs. The white undershirt allowed a view of her long neck, the jacket hugged her curves lonvingly. Her angelic face was adorned with barely any make-up. He knew she didn't need anything to look beautiful.
When Itachi had told him that his Sakura was back in town, he set out to look for her. He had sent letters to her when he was away, but she never replied, now that he was in front of her, she didn't even remember him. Sasuke was determined to find out how this came to be.
"You lost your mind! You know as much as I do that our families don't get along. I recognized you immediately." she couldn't let her guard down. Meanwhile Sasuke had a spark of hope, maybe she was just pretending not to remember him. But her following words shattered those thoughts. "My father told me about you and your family. How ten years ago the Uchiha was set out to annihilate the Harunos. Since we were the only two companies in Japan that were family owned, you had to illiminate all competition…" the sharp tone of her voice scared him. This woman was cold...he felt so cold...
"Think about it Sakura, that was years ago. Now, I am in charge and if we join forces your stock market will go up. My associates become your associates, simple as that." Sakura knew he was right, throughout her growth in the business department she had heard a lot about the Sharingan Corp. The moment she found out about the company, she knew it belong to the Uchihas, therefore, it belong to Sasuke Uchiha. She had no knowledge of what he looked like, but his name was heard constantly around the house, she couldn't help but eavesdrop on her parents' conversations.
"Why do you want to help after all these years?" she was curious, what was Sasuke up to?
"I want to show you I'm not the bad person you see me as." Sasuke headed for the door, then her voice stopped him.
"Fine Uchiha. Nothing more than business, nothing personal." Sakura cocked her head to the side, she wanted to trust him…
Sasuke smiled, he turned to look at her. "If that is what you want. I'll be back tomorrow with the contract Sakura." Her heart stopped for a second. That smile…where have I seen it before?
"Don't be so friendly Uchiha, keep in mind this is business only."
"Of course Miss Haruno. It is business only..." Sasuke gave Sakura a smirk and left her office without another word.
She hated to admit it, but she needed the Uchiha's help. Now the issue was how she was going to breaks the news to her parents. She was smart enough to make then understand that she did it for the sake of the company.
Ring! Ring!
Sakura sighed..." Hello this is Sakura Haruno speaking."
"Honey! How are you? I have missed you so much." the male voice surprised her, she didn't expect him to call her so soon.
"Tony, I miss you too. But I'm kind of busy right now." she wasn't in the mood to talk to him. Even if she was going to marry him in a few months, that didn't stop her from wanting to tear at his flesh once in a while.
"Alright Sakura, don't worry I'll let you work. I have a surprise for you tomorrow. So be prepared, okay? Bye, I love you." the conversation ended with a beep from the other end of the line.
"Love you too, bye." she hung up. For the first time in her life she wanted to go home early. She couldn't neglect her work like that, especially now that it was in so much need.
Sakura was going to go back to her work and forget about the whole Uchiha incident. Yes, that was what she was going to do, forget that an Uchiha had just walked into her office demanding for something that supposedly belonged to him, and then suddenly acted all smart and composed when she told him she didn't know him.
Damn him! Damn her, for getting so worked up on some guy she was going to be making business with soon.
Sakura Haruno, the great Haruno was going to make a collaboration with Sasuke Uchiha. What was she supposed to do? Besides, she had wedding preparations to worry about!
