Chapter 1.
Aiden Burn woke up to first sunrays shining through her apartment curtains. She looked over to her alarm clock and was only 5 a.m and damn she wasn't sleepy anymore. Now she had three and half hours of free time before she had to go to work.
Thinking of her new job made her she missed her old and sometimes exciting job the new one made her feel more tell the truth she didn't miss her old job all that much,she just missed her old co-workers who had become great friends to her. Especially one of them,her ex-partner Danny. She missed him the most. The first two weeks after she had been fired (and moved away from her old apartment) she couldn't understand why she missed Danny so much,more than others. After two weeks she finally admitted that she had fallen in love with Danny even though she promised herself that she wouldn't to that to herself. Mainly because Danny was a player and also because she didn't want to put her job on a risk at that time. Now she regretted it every day but she couldn't do something about it. She had called Stella about two weeks ago and had asked her about Danny and she had told her that Danny was now dating some new girl Lindsay. At that moment she felt her hope to rekindle her relationship with Danny fade.
Aiden hadn't taken contact with Danny after she left because she didn't want to see Dannys dissapointed face and particulary she didn't want to hear how dissapointed he was with her because that would've hurt the most.
Although she missed her old friends and Danny, she was quite happy with her new job. Aiden was a teacher in a small school and she loved those children who she had to teach. She loved that there was no more death around her job everything wasn't so dark coulored anymore.
As Aiden was about to get up her doorbell ranged. She wondered who it could be because she wasn't expecting any quests at this time. She hadn't even but on her dressing gown when the doorbell ranged again.
„Gosh, hold your horses" Aiden mumbled under her breath.
When she finally reached to her door and opened it she couldn't believe her eyes. She couldn't believe that at this very moment she was looking a person who she never expected to see ever again.
„Aiden, have you lost all your proper manners after being away from home so long?"
„Oh I'm so sorry. Let me make it up to you and invite you in, maybe some coffee.. oh wait, I forgot that I don't invite people like you inside my home."
„You're still the same Aiden, you still have that old fiery temper. But you should invite me in or I'm going to give your neighbours some interesting show to watch and maybe you would lose your...uh home also. Although I can't understand how you can live in a rat hole like this."
„How nice of you to cooment my home like that, but I guess you are used to something different cause you took all of my fathers money. Anyway, come in and make it quick, I don't want bad memories in my home."
