They were in the car. on the way to some secluded house in the woods just for the weekend. They hardly ever got days off. Castle was okay with this seeing as he spent almost all his time with Beckett anyway. But after a really long case involving a dead girl and a whole illegal Russian acrobat team, this break was well deserved. Castle looked to his right, to his love. There she was looking gorgeous even with her head against the window all sleepy and lovely. He couldn't believe it. She was there, with him after all this time. they had beat the odds. It felt kind of surreal. Feeling like they were so close but were never going to cross that line from partners into something more. something magnificent. He had parked the car at the side of the road. They had arrived. '' Beckett, wake up" he said as he rested his hand on her shoulder. He smiled warmly at her. She really was all adorable when she was groggy. Beckett lifted her head from the window and said "Castle let me sleep". He laughed softly " But we are here,plus wouldn't you rather go sleep inside that really comfy big bed of mine, or not sleep?" he said grinning. She slowly got up smiling as she said " fine Castle but if I become a grumpy bear and murder you" " You would make an adorable bear" he supplied she pushed his shoulder with hers as she got out of the car. " not helping with your case Castle". "Oh I know I just love riling you up".He said, eyes shinning "Hah. I bet you do Castle" "I love you". he said a bit seriously " I love you too". Beckett smiled at him and bit her bottom lip. "C'mon let's go not sleep".
