Control Z, A Zemyx Story

Authors notes: Hey, Fanged-Ferret here, it was like eleven o'clock last night and I couldn't sleep so I typed this out, So- I hope you enjoy, it's disgustingly short, but I don't care. Please read and review!

Ctrl-Z, Delete, Undo, it never happened. Really.

Demyx wishes he could take it back, all of the words forcing their way out of him and he wishes he could suck them back and delete them from Zexion's consciousness. Ctrl-Z just like that. But it isn't that easy.

"Oh come on, Zex, I adore it when you do that."

Ctrl-Z

Nothing.

"Zexion! You're amazing, you know that right?"

Ctrl-Z

Maybe he didn't hear you?

"That's beautiful, Zexion."

Ctrl-Z

It was a as slip of the tongue, really.

"I fucking love you! Why is that so hard for you to understand, I thought you were supposed to be smart!"

But the heart isn't a computer, and the look on Zexion's face is heart wrenching, world-shattering. He is so hurt, so scared of his best friend.

Ctrl-Z?

But it doesn't work that way.

So, Demyx does what he does best, and runs, runs away from him. Taking his heart and his wild words away with him. The mouth he can't control, the vocal cords wired directly to his heart, and he doesn't stop and think before he speaks. And oh god he hates himself.

Because, before he can let himself leave, before he runs away the bile pours from him once more.

"I don't know why I even try, I hate you, Zexion."

Ctrl-Z.

Through his tears the snow falls around him, fat white flakes blurring into a single white sheet, and he stumbles and falls, face first with the white swirling around him.

Deleted.

But a door slams behind him and warm arms wrap around his shaking shoulders, because Zexion is his best friend, he's better than him.

"Don't, don't hate me, don't give up, Demyx. I'm so sorry. I love you."

Why does Zexion even still want him?

'I don't deserve you.'

"I, Love you- Zexion. I'm sorry, Thank you."
