Yeah this is my first story and pretty short. Its a one shot and is after the time skip. I'm not into Valentines day all that much, but its the holiday. Enjoy!
TenTen sat on the edge of her window sill viewing into the nightly sky. There was a full moon out and the stars each brighter than any other night, for this night alone. Valentines day had arrived and she waited as always on this day. Something caught her eye in the distance. A smile appeared on her face as it neared. Coming towards her was a snow white dove. She held out her hand as it settled in her palm. It proudly kept it head high and obediently stilled as she untied a note off its leg and opened its mouth to release the white rose held in its mouth. In return it received a cracker from the Weapon Mistress. She took in the scent of the the white rose, lavender. Unrolling the paper she saw a poem and with it a lovely picture of her. The picture was her smiling in a big heart sketched in pencil. The poem is what intrigued her though.
Beautiful, bright, and strong
With a bow and arrow you pierced my
heart
A master of weapons
I could not stand for us to be apart
I love everything about you
From your chocolate eyes and brunette
hair
What I love the most is your shining
smile
Nothing else could compare
You are everything to this man
Happy and cheerful I hope to always see
Your are the only one
The only one for me
Happy Valentines Day Tenten.
I love you and forever will.
Your and only yours
TenTen's eyes lingered on the page for a moment before rolling it up once more and setting it in her drawer. Just like every year she had received a poem from her secret admirer. She longed to know who he was, but always lost track of the dove as it flew back to its owner. Knowing the result if she attempted to follow she simply waited patiently as the bird flew off in the distance. Not knowing that the person who loved her was watching. To him she looked beautiful with her hair down. Their was so much more he wished to tell her, but could not say them. Only through his words in ink could he tell her what he truly felt for her. "Love you TenTen, sweet dreams," he whispered a small blessing. The long haired young man stalked off into the night once she lay down for rest.
Hope you like it!
