Prologue

A large house stood on the east side of Godric's Hollow, surrounded by fields, meadows, and orchards. Here a family of five lived, Harry, Ginny, James, Albus, and Lily. Lily being the youngest, looked up to her older brothers, and had her dad wrapped around her little finger. Her hair was as red as a rose, with eyes green as emerald gems. Ivory skin was dusted with light freckles on her cheeks, just the right amount of freckles no too much and not too little. Despite being the youngest daughter and only having older brothers, she was a girly girl.

Now, in Wiltshire, a manor stood surrounded by iron fences, large gardens, and even a cemetery in the back-which was kind of creepy. This manor belonged to the Malfoy's, Malfoy Manor to be exact. Draco, Astoria, and Scorpius all lived here, along with Lucius and Narcissa Malfoy, Draco's parents. With light blonde hair that glowed with silvery tinges, and smoldering grey eyes, along with a flawless pale complexion, Scorpius was expected to be the utmost gentlemen, support the Dark Arts, listen to his grandfather - as well as worship the ground he walked upon, and shun most everybody else. The thing was, he wasn't like that. He enjoyed other peoples' company, personally loved annoying his grandfather, and hated the Dark Arts.

A whistle blew, causing a red haired girl to jump slightly before turning to her older brothers, tears swelling in her eyes. Harry and Ginny were trying their best to move their eldest children along so that they didn't miss the bus, and more importantly their education at Hogwarts.

"You better write to me once a week," Lily Potter whimpered, some tears falling down her freckled cheeks. "I only have one more year left, and then I'll be there with you guys."

"Of course, Lily Pad, did you think we'd forget our favorite sister?" Albus replied, smiling at the 10 year old.

"I'm your only sister," she retorted, laughing slightly through her tears.

"You guys are going to miss the train if you don't hurry up!" Ginny urged. "Go on! Get on the train!"

"Yes mum," the black haired boys replied in perfect unison, picking up their school stuff and hurriedly walking over to the train.

"Only one more year, and it will fly by quickly, then you'll be there with your brothers," Harry whispered soothingly, picking the little girl up and hugging her. "Not to mention, this is my last year with you at home, I'm going to miss you next year, angel."

"I'll miss you too Daddy," she replied, hugging her dad tightly and giving him a big kiss on the cheek.

"Come on! Let's get a move on!" her Uncle Ron exclaimed, taking long strides over to them while dragging her cousin Hugo along with him.

Soon, Ron's wife Hermione joined them and they exited the train station. A little ways off, a group of four fair haired, pale skin people stared after them. One was sneering, his eyes narrowed as he looked at the only daughter of the Chosen One. The other three looked at the little girl happily, with slight pity for whatever Lucius would possibly do to her.

*Author's Note* This is my first Harry Potter fanfiction, and I chose for it to be about my ABSOLUTE favorite couple, Lily and Scorpius. I do not own Harry Potter, just am completely obsessed with it.
