THEIR FIRST VALENTINE

DISCLAIMER

Just my idea of Zack and Kelly's first Valentine's Day as a married couple. Not related to Behind His Hazel Eyes. Uses some dialogue from King Of The Hill. Belongs to NBC.

Kelly Morris blew out a tired breath as she walked into the small apartment and dropped her bag on the floor. She and Zack still had a long way to go before getting their dream home, but they were happy, despite the struggle to keep up with both work and classes. Feeling something soft underneath her shoes, she looked down. To her surprise, there were velvet red rose petals on the floor. Furrowing her brows in confusion, she continued. As she did so, she realized the petals were making a path.

"Zack…what did you do?" she wondered fondly. She followed the petal path to their room, where her husband, Zack Morris, was sitting on the bed in a tux with a dinner for two on the bed.

"Welcome home, baby," he greeted huskily.

"Oh, Zack," she breathed. "You did all this when I was out?" she asked.

"Yeah. Our first Valentine's Day as Mr. and Mrs. Morris---I wanted to make it special," he told her.

"I think I'm going to cry," she told him, echoing a frequent high school phrase.

"Please. Sit down," he invited. She did so.

"Zack, this all my favorites," she noted.

"I hope I've pleased you," he said.

"Oh, yeah," she confirmed, leaning over the food and giving him a kiss. He ran his fingers through her hair and she deepened the kiss, and then pinned him to bed.

"What about dinner?" he murmured.

"We'll reheat it," she answered. "Besides, you must be tired after all that scheming," she continued. Zack made a moaning noise.

"I was cunning, wasn't I?" he queried.

"Oh, yeah," Kelly answered, unbuttoning his tux. Then, she and her husband sank into the bed.
