This was just a bit random. Fine, very random. But the thought of cute little Akaya in a pleated skirt just makes me smile.
Sanada twitched. Loud bickering was filling the tennis courts, and he was far from pleased. Stomping over to his arguing teammates, he snapped, "What's going on here?"
Instantly, there was silence. "Hi, Sanada-fukubuchou," Akaya squeaked.
"Akaya has no fashion sense!" Marui suddenly piped up.
". . ."
"Well, you don't!"
"Do too!"
Sanada twitched again.
Yukimura walked over to them. "You have a wonderful sense of style," he soothed.
Niou snorted. "Yeah, right. Did you see what he was wearing yesterday after school? A red shirt with a Christmas tree design on it. For God's freaking sake, it's August."
Akaya pouted. "So? My aunt bought that for me."
"Yeah. In December."
"Shut up, Marui-senpai!"
Yagyuu frowned. "We shouldn't be arguing over such trivial things," he reminded them. "Isn't that against Rikkai's law?"
"No, but it is now." Sanada glowered at them. "If you don't shut up, you're all running two hundred laps."
"You know, when Sanada threatens us, he always says we have to run two hundred laps. Why not three hundred, huh? Or three hundred and one?" Niou pondered thoughtfully.
Once again, Sanada twitched.
"You know, if you keep that up, your eyebrow will fall off," Yukimura commented lightly. Turning to Akaya, he added, "If you really need that much help when it comes to outfits, you ought to read this magazine." The smiling captain handed him a magazine entitled Pink Ink ©.
Akaya stared at it. "But only girls read magazines."
"All the elites shop according to this magazine. Including awesome tennis players."
Hesitantly, he took it. "Well, okay."
"Since we're all getting together tomorrow, you may as well go shopping after tennis practice today. You know, so you don't look like a total idiot when we go to the park," Jackal explained kindly.
"That's mean, Jackal-senpai."
The next day, Akaya showed up in a white, pleated skirt with a light blue laced blouse. Accompanying the outfit was a mini blazer and two inch heels.
"You gave him a woman's magazine, didn't you?" Sanada asked, staring at Akaya and all the stares he was attracting.
"Why, of course not, Sanada!" Yukimura feigned innocence. "Why would I ever do that?"
". . . The magazine was entitled Pink Ink ©."
"So?"
"Never mind."
. . . I have this strange obsession with Akaya and cross-dressing. If anyone would like to volunteer to draw Akaya in either the outfit mentioned in this story or the outfit mentioned in The RikkaiDai Sleepover, please say so. Also, Pink Ink © doesn't exist.
