White is the color of pain.
And thats what surges through him, blinding and white hot. White is the color of the sterile bandages that now cover his hands and stained crimson.
He never saw this coming, and even if he did- he'd try anything to stop it. White is the color of the flashes of lightning as they light up the sky.
The rain is falling around him and leaves that have come loose from the branches of slowly withering trees swirls around in the stormy wind. It would be beautiful, the rain soaked orange and reds fluttering against the endless grey of the sky but now, he's too dead inside to think anything could ever be beautiful again.
She should have never died.
And white is the last color he sees as he sits down by her grave, he's always hated white.

I haven't fallen off the edge of the earth, so I guess you don't have to worry about that happening anytime soon. If anyone is wondering about the delay on "Left Behind", you can thank real life for that.
Anyhow this was originally intended to be somewhat ArwinxCarey... 'He' as in Arwin and 'She' as in Carey. Though at this point... it could be anyone you want it to be. Hope you enjoy it.
