Countdown
A/N: Yes, another short and sweet one-shot I thought of for Simanette (SimonXJeanette) Sort of a songfic. Hope you like it. :)
Simon was always so curious to know about his counterpart Jeanette's feelings. Her affectionate feelings as a matter of fact.
He wanted to know if she had affectionate feelings for him as much as he did for her. She probably didn't... or did she?
Maybe she had something in her room that was a sign that maybe, just maybe showed that she had a secret crush on him.
After Dave left the Chipmunks by themselves to take the girls shopping, from curiosity, he snuck into her room to start the search.
Even though nobody was in the bespectacled Chipette's room at the time, he slowly crept inside the sweet-scented room, taking all the colors in.
Mostly Jeanette's room was a bright violet color like her signature color. He could see her books and homework on her bed, and a neat stack of her favorite books that she had either already read before or just started reading. He knew the genres were probably romance, since he knew she loved romance. ;)
But what really caught the blue-clad Chipmunk's eye was that there was a single slip of paper with perfect incursive handwriting that was on top of a desk that was by her nightstand.
From the far distance he could see his name on the top of the paper.
He was squealing inside of excitement. Maybe that's where she writes down all of her feelings about me! He thought.
He scampered over to the desk and quickly hopped on top of it to look at the paper and smiled happily when he read the title of the paper and began reading the list...

After he had read it, his smile grew. Jeanette always had a way to make him smile, even when she wasn't there.
Then he heard the door open and turned around to see the beautiful Chipette standing there giggling. "What are you doing in my room?"
"Oh, I was just reading your "list"," He replied honestly and scurried closer to her.
She blushed. "W-well... th-that's why I really love you," She then smiled, "I guess I forgot to put it away before I left..."
Simon tilted her head up with his finger to look into her gleaming violet eyes.
"I love you, too," He said softly. They both smiled.
Their faces slowly became leaning in, closing the space that between them. They gently pressed their lips together and could feel their furry cheeks brush against each other slighty.
Jeanette felt a light skip in her heart. Yay he kissed me! She was cheering happily in her head.
Her sisters smiled joyfully from the doorway at the sweet and fluffy moment.
AWWWW... I LOVE SIMANETTE! (I don't know how many times I've said that X3)
