I've read a few of these on different fandoms and thought "What the heck?" and so, from my English Class Vocab list(s), I present, MARVEL DRABBLES
Mainly starring my favorite characters, the majority of whom will tie into a later fanfiction I'm planning.
Marvel already made them a group in an alter reality; guess which reality and what they called themselves to receive cookies.
BEGIN
1: Clamber
Slapstick winced as Rage, face covered in whipped cream, clambered up a wooden beam to reach him on the rafter he was sitting on, only to fall ungracefully back to the ground.
2: Lagoon
There was a shallow pool that Moon Boy enjoyed swimming in, he named it 'Lagoon'.
3: Vainly
Sherry tried vainly to pull herself over a wall in the obstacle course in Camp Hammond, until a quick shove from behind sent her sailing. The only sight of her helper was a blurred colorful form running the rest of the course.
4: Quiver
Devil quivered as the cold night set in, wishing he was like his furred friend.
5: Decorous
Foom viewed his decorous quarters in the Monster Island Base.
6: Interpose
Foom interposed himself in the lineup of 'monster' type heroes, hoping for a chance to prove that he wasn't a mindless beast driven by instinct.
7: Strident
Sherry backed away in fear as a large black man forced his way across the mess hall, making strident mumbles to himself.
8: Speculate
Slapstick speculated that Rage wasn't likely to forgive him for the pie prank that morning so soon. His fears were confirmed when he felt a large hand on the back of his neck.
9: Clamor
Sherry winced as a clown-like figure was thrown clear across the mess hall, smacking loudly against the wall. A clamor of laughter erupted as the clown got up in a daze before collapsing back to the ground.
10: Pallor
Sherry searched the camp for the clown from the incident in the mess hall, finally noticing him sitting on the roof of a barrack. The moon shone brightly on his white, pallor face.
