What really happened...
-Hitomi and Folken*sigh* are in Dornkirks house(???)umm... place where Dornkirk lives and intead of Folken dying the script called for Hitomi to die (because she wanted too much of a pay raise), but my Folkie, being the perfect gentleman he is, thought he should die because he wasn't as much of a main character. So after learning about what they were going to do to Hitomi, he took matters into his own hands. The next day instead of Hitomi dying, he jumped in front of the blade (the piece of his sword that fell off) and sprayed ketchup all over himself making it look like he was really dead. Then later when Van and Merle came to pay the last respects he just got up and left.
