Hey guys! In the mood for a one-shot. Basically this is when Chandler breaks up with Kathy. Just a friendly moment between Monica and Chandler. "Listen, Chandler. You're not still upset about Kathy are you?" Monica smiled sadly as Chandler slumped into her apartment, wearing dull grey sweatpants and an expression to match them. The spark in his blue eyes seemed to have vanished and he seemed constantly on the verge of tears.
Chandler shook his head," No..."
Monica looked at him, sceptically. "Chandler..." He didn't look up and Monica sighed, continuing. "Chandler Muriel Bing! Now, you listen to me. You don't need her. You and I both know that you deserve better and, you can put yourself down as much as you want to," Chandler made to interrupt but Monica silenced him with a look. "Chandler, don't do this to yourself." Chandler looked up and was startled to see tears forming in Monica's brilliantly blue eyes.
"Mon... I'm fine, honestly."
"Chandler, I know you better than you think. And you are gonna get over her, you are gonna go out there and prove to her that you don't need her. She was an idiot Chandler."
"What...?"
"She was an idiot."
"Why..?"
"She let you go," Monica smiled sadly at Chandler and kissed him on the forehead, looking at him. "Chandler, any woman would be lucky to have you. It just wasn't her. Please don't do this, I miss the old Chandler. We all do," she added, thoughtfully.
Chandler nodded, sadly. "Thanks Mon. You up for a round of coffee later?"
"Sure! Where?"
Chandler laughed and kissed his friend on the cheek. "See you later Mon. Thanks." He smiled at her before exiting her apartment, his heart feeling slightly lighter.
