The last thing I remembered before the world went black was the real Ansem's machine exploding.
Then I saw Riku. Only, he wasn't in the guise of Ansem's Heartless anymore. How could he see with that black blindfold across his eyes?
Those eyes I longed to see…
"Riku…" I breathed, instinctively reaching up to remove the blindfold. How I missed his presence; his voice; his warm gaze…The black cloth fell away with ease in my hands, and those aqua-green eyes that I ached for fell upon me.
"Sora…" My face flushes crimson as Riku suddenly envelopes me in a hug. "I missed you." I can't reply him; it's so comfortable in his arms. As he lets me go, he chuckles at my coloured cheeks. "You're still the same," he teases me. I have a sudden overwhelming urge to kiss him.
And I do.
Riku seems stunned by my boldness for a second, but then he quickly takes over, forcing me to submit to him instead. Not that I mind too much…When he pulls away, my breath's hitching in my throat and I know my face is really red, because Riku is laughing quietly again. "Like I said, you're still the same." "You too," I reply as he hugs me again, "you're still the same, I'm so glad I found you."
