I DO NOT OWN TWILIGHT!
Aro Runs For Mayor
FELIX POV
"Felix," Aro called my name from across the castle. "Felix get over here now!"
"Yes Master!" I called back.
I ran through almost all the secret tunnels in our castle before I found him, staring at the television we recently acquired.
"Felix!" Are jumped up excitedly. He reminded me of the dog I had in my human days sometimes. "OMG! Felix, Volterra is looking for a new mayor!"
How did this effect Aro?
"Yes Master, I am aware."
"Do you know what this means?" Aro got even more excited.
"No Master, I am afraid I do not know the meaning of this conversation." I answered unsure.
"I would be perfect for the job!" he squealed like a teenage human girl.
"Of course master, but don't you have enough work to do at the castle?"
"Marcus and Cauis can handle it." He sounded sure.
I decided there was no point in arguing it further.
"Have you already applied for the job?" I asked. When Aro got excited he sometimes forgot things.
"Felix, Felix," he scolded. "You forgot to call me 'Master', that was disrespectful."
I sighed. "Have you already applied for the job, Master?"
"Yes I have Felix, and they told me to make a campaign video about why people should vote for me and they will air it on television. And that is why I called you here dear Felix. Now I need you to go and get the video recorder do-dad thing, I'm no good with technology."
"Yes Master." I answered him and bolted out the door.
I ran into our storage room and grabbed the recorder; it was right on top, and started back.
When I returned Aro was jumping around the room like an excited puppy again.
"I have retrieved the recorder Master." I informed him holding it up.
"Good job Felix!" Aro congratulated me. "Follow me."
I ran after Aro for only a short while before we reached the castle doors. He opened up one of the heavy, well heavy for a human, doors and we ran outside into the sun. The high walls around us made it impossible for humans to see our magnificent beauty and sparkling skin.
"Okay now all you have to do is record this, I already have a speech and everything. Okay Felix?"
"Yes Master." I said obediently, although I had better things to do with my time.
I turned the camera on, set it on the correct focus, and prepared to press record on cue.
Aro walked into the shadows of the castle so he would not sparkle while he was being recorded, and pointed at me. That was my cue to hit record.
Aro's speech began, "I'm sure you have seen all the candidates that I am being opposed by, but I can assure you all the one you really want is me….blah blah blah….."
I had kind of zoned out while Aro was talking when suddenly he started walking towards a sunny spot in the castle yard.
"Aro, Master, NO!" I whispered to low for any human to have a hope of hearing.
Aro ignored me and continued walking, all the while still talking, "And that is why dear friends that I should become your mayor…"
Then he was standing in the sun, shining brilliantly, when he ended his speech, "This was brought to you by Aro Volturi, I'm sparkling with enthusiasm!"
The ending must have been his newfound slogan.
"What did you think Felix? Huh? Huh? Was it good? Was it? What did you think of the ending? The humans will love the "special effect" don't you think?"
I answered all of the Aro's millions of questions to his satisfactory and two weeks later Aro was elected mayor of Volterra.
