Chapter 1- Reading Results:
Kate Todd sat down at her desk, anxiously awaiting the results of her pregnancy. Beside her sat her best friend in the entire world, Abby Sciuto. The stick sounded that the test was complete, but neither woman could look at it. Normally, Abby would have been busting to the results of a test, but today, sitting in the bullpen next to her best friend, waiting to see if Kate's world was about to change forever, all she could do was ask, 'So does Tony know we're doing this?". Kate stifled a small laugh. 'No, I want to be 100 before I make him run for the hill.' Abby hugged her and went to say something but was cut off by Kate picking up the stick, she needed to know. 'What do you think Tony will do if I am pregnant?' She still hadn't looked yet. Before she could she needed Abby's reassurance that she wouldn't lose the man of her dreams. 'Well, honestly I think that he'll be shocked at first, like we are now, but then he'll realise that he's having a baby with the most amazing woman in the world, and he'll be the happiest he's ever been in his life.' Tony chose that exact moment to enter the bullpen. 'We're having a baby honey?' He stood in shock, though the look on his face showed joy. 'Actually, we're not sure yet. We haven't been able to look at the results yet.' Abby told him a quiet-shy voice not usually associated with her. Tony walked over to Kate's desk, kissed the top of her head and her cheek and held her hand, letting her know that he was never going to leave her, no matter what. She raised the stick up so that they could both see it.
'Oh my God, Kate! We're having a baby!' He practically screamed. He was so happy, and it defiantly showed. He lifted her up and gave her massive hug covered her in kisses. He kissed her belly to and spoke to tiny little being growing inside. After that he continued with the hugs and kisses. They we're both so happy, they we're crying. Abby stood by watching them, knowing that they had completely forgotten she was there, but she didn't mind. They we're having a baby. She'd been waiting for this since she first found out they we're together.
