"Severus, take me to Madame Pomfrey. Now."

He stopped rubbing her lower back and turned her around so that she faced him.

His eyes met hers, and there was a mixture of fear and excitement that passed between them.

He rose slowly, and had her in his arms the next minute. He refused to Floo for fear of his wife's condition, and slowly made his way to the Hospital Wing.

"You do realize, that it is your birthday, darling. Happy birthday!" she murmured into his neck as they passed the Great Hall.

"Thank you, and we shall see soon, love."
