A/N: Drabble for my favorite TV show and pairing. While I patiently wait (and I use the word "patiently" loosely) for the next season, I thought I would write a little something. Plus it helps when I'm having writer's block. All Nathan POV. Enjoy!

His hand wrapped around hers, an immediate reaction coursed through him at her touch. Like little electrical bolts coursing through the fibers of his body and it even raised the hairs on his arms. It took his mind a while to register the sensations. It has been such a long time to feel like this, it never ceased to catch him off guard.

Warmth.

Even on the warmest of days that Haven had, he felt nothing. Not a soft breeze to caress his cheek nor the rays of the bright sun. In coldest of winters, he felt not the sting of harsh winds or a chill that seeped into his bones. He was isolated to what came as normal to everyone else.

But with Audrey...it was different. He can feel her touch, feel her warmth. It seeped into his hand, as though his body was greedily absorbing it all for itself. Having it sandwiched between his hands, her hand became hot. He wondered if it was his or her body temperature that risen.

Softness.

He imagined that even pillows couldn't compare to this. He remembered clearly how her lips felt against his cheek. A smoothness from the pale pink that were her lips, but so sudden the contact that he didn't realize it happened until she was already halfway around his truck to get to the passengers seat.

He touched his cheek, suspecting that his sense of touch had returned. It had not. His fingers touched his cheek, didn't feel the stubble that he saw in the mirror nor his own skin. It was all her. In what he failed to feel with Jess, a woman he did intend to have some kind of relationship with, he gained with Audrey. His partner and best friend.

Audrey.

He knew that she could help the Troubled and he even suspected that she would help him with his infliction. He didn't expect anything like this though. He didn't expect to feel her lips on his cheek that eventful day. He feared the likely hood that it was a one time deal. He experimented by brushing her hand once to get a form he needed to fill out back at the station. Again, bolts of electricity coursed through him and he bit back the gasp that would startle her and question him.

He wondered what her reaction would be if he told her.

"Audrey, I can feel you." The words themselves were very difficult to muster up. They just established their friendship. He feared that Audrey would think he was just using their friendship as a way for him to connect back to his sense of touch. And while, yes, there were instances when he just wanted to grab her and run his hands all over her body, he contained himself.

Allowing himself small subtle touches so her suspicions may never rise. He cared too much about Audrey to ever want to ruin their bond.

He raised his head to Audrey to look at her instead of the hand he's still holding. This petite woman entered Haven and turned Nathan's world up on it's head. He would do absolutely anything to make sure that she was by his side. Not only because he could feel her, but because she is someone he would never want to do without. His partner, his best friend, his Audrey.
