He woke with a start in an unfamiliar bed. The taupe linens were too luxurious for his taste; the Egyptian cotton sheets were mussed and smelled of stale sweat.

He raked his hand over his hair, which miraculously stayed acceptably clean. He didn't work in the laboratory last night, anyway.

A soft hand slowly made its way to his chest, and began its way down in playful loops. He sucked in his breath as the hand went lower, and his muscles clenched as he felt the woman's breath near his ear.

"Stop it."

"Lucius will never know."
