I'm not sure if this'll be two or three chapters, or more. Right now I'm aiming for two, the second one is in progress, but I might write more if I feel like it. Anyway, enjoy~
Slender wandered the night swiftly, silently. There weren't many people out tonight, not that it was that big of a surprise, it was a school night after all. The first month or so after school started was the hardest to find food, after awhile people would stop taking it all so seriously and there would be people, but for now it was going to be a struggle. The monster stopped in his steps and whirled his head in the other direction as he heard the sound of laughter, young laughter. His tentacles tensed in anticipation as he teleported off towards the sound. When he came close to the sound he could hear the laughter coming from the other side of the tree. Slender slid a tentacle around the tree, then the instant he had them by the ankle he yanked them up into the air in front of him, upside down.
Slender gave a quiet growl in surprise, leaning his head back a bit at the sight before him. The teens face was white like Slender's own with no eyelids to cover his eyes and a smile cut into his face, but if the cuts were excluded it would be obvious the boy was glaring at the Slenderman. Slender snarled and his grip tightened on the boy's ankle, getting a hiss in pain as a result. A sharp pain shot through the tentacle holding the boy as he cut it with his knife, causing Slender to drop him on the ground. Black blood dribbled down the tentacle and Slender backed up, growling at the boy as he got to his feet. Slender tensed as he laughed insanely, waving the knife around as he did just for the hell of it.
"Hiiiiii!" he said through his laughter, twirling the knife in his hand. "My name's Jeff...go to sleep." He stopped spinning the knife and held it in his hand, but it wasn't the right way for striking. Slender didn't move. Jeff cackled lowly. "Suit yourself." He charged and Slender teleported away, causing him to stumble forward. Jeff whirled around to see Slender there and went still, just staring at him. Jeff snarled angrily and charged again, only to miss as Slender moved again. "Stay still!" Jeff threw the knife at him and Slender caught it with one of his tentacles, holding it there for a moment dramatically in front of his face before lowering it to look at Jeff's startled and confused expression. He tossed the knife at Jeff's feet.
"You're stupid," Slender trilled without words, not caring that the boy couldn't understand him. Jeff clenched his fists at his sides and stomped his foot in anger.
"I am not!" he screamed in fury, his mouth frowning against the cuts in his mouth. Slender tensed as the boy yelled at him in response, the two of them staring at each other for a long moment in silence. Jeff clenched his fists tighter, long nails cutting into his palm.
"You understand me." It wasn't a question. Jeff started to laugh again, his hands releasing the tension they had built up as he did. Slender huffed. "You are stupid though." He stopped laughing instantly and glared again. "You aren't holding the knife correctly." Jeff watched in silent wonder as the creature grabbed the knife with a tentacle and placed it in his hand upside-down, pushing his knuckles to grip it tight. "Killing is an art, don't insult it." Slender turned and walked away, leaving Jeff to look over the knife in his hand. He looked up to speak but the words died when he saw Slender walking away.
"Hey, wait!" Slender didn't give him the pleasure of a conversation and teleported away. Just beyond the edge of the woods Slender could hear the boy calling out for him, not knowing his name he simply was calling him the beast of the forest. Slender didn't go back, he still had dinner to catch.

The next time he saw Jeff the kid was stalking what was supposed to be his food at around midnight a few days later. Instead of taking the kill from him Slender watched from the shadows as the boy stalked them down the street. He was terrible at it. He kept making noise and the guy would look behind him curiously, getting more and more freaked out as time when on, and he wasn't holding the knife they way Slender had shown him. Slender shook his head and put a hand to his face with an irritated growl, this boy was so stupid. He removed his hand and watched as the man stopped at a crossroads, Jeff coming up behind him. His stance was terrible. Slender shook his head.
"You're doing it wrong!" he roared, making the man whirl around and Jeff drop his knife in surprise. The man screamed and ran down the street, Jeff growling in frustration as he grabbed his knife from the ground. Slender snickered at the sight as Jeff stormed over to him. Slender leaned back as the knife sliced at his abdomen. He grabbed his wrist with his hand and twisted, causing a cry of pain to leave Jeff as he dropped the knife and was shoved to the ground. "You have no idea what you're doing. Your footsteps are too heavy, you breathe heavy and you're slow." Jeff huffed and got to his feet, picking the knife up as he did.
"I've only been at this a few months, shut up!" Jeff snapped, unblinking eyes narrowed. Slender didn't give him the pleasure of a response, he didn't deserve it. Jeff huffed and walked away to find another victim. "Fuck off, bitch." Jeff yelped in surprise as he was grabbed by both arms by tentacles, his knife falling to the ground as he was yanked back and hung up in the air by Slender, the creature snarling at him. Jeff smirked. "Aw, did I hurt your feelings?" Jeff spat on his face and let loose a crazy laugh as Slender growled, wiping it away with a tentacle.
"You'll pay for that." Jeff let out a blood curtailing scream as his joints were pulled on, not enough to rip them but enough to feel like they were going to. Slender watched the boy suffer in agony as he slowly increased the pull on his arms. Tears of pain appeared on the brim of his eyes but couldn't quite pass from the lack of eyelids. That was the first time he actually saw him smile, without the help of the cuts on his cheeks. It was almost hopeful. Slender dropped him onto the ground, the boy shaking from the pain. Slender growled. Jeff looked at him angrily, the smile gone.
"Why didn't you just kill me?!" Slender tensed at the tone, like he wanted him to kill him. Slender silently turned and walked towards the forest. "Hey!" Jeff scrambled to his feet, grabbing the knife and running after Slender, who didn't bother teleporting this time. "Get back here you coward!" Slender whirled around, nearly wacking the both with his tentacles from the action. Slender growled in irritation. Jeff straightened up, teeth gritted. "I wanna learn how to kill." Slender huffed and turned back away. "You said it was an art, so teach me." Slender shook his head in response. "Then kill me you jackass!" Slender walked off again and teleported away. He heard Jeff scream in fury at the action but he ignored him, stalking a group of kids hiking through the woods telling a scary story.

Jeff learned pretty quickly that teaching yourself how to stalk and kill people wasn't easy. As much as he hated to admit it, Slender had been completely right. His footsteps and breathing were too heavy, and he was extremely slow. He could work on his speed but he couldn't seem to figure out how to be light footed when there were sticks and litter everywhere, light footing was an instinct that he just couldn't seem to learn. He cursed himself quietly as he hid up in his tree, just watching people walk down the sidewalk as the sun started to set. Why couldn't he learn something as simple as lightly stepping? He let out an irritated huff.
"This is bullshit," he grumbled under his breath. He pulled the knife from his sweatshirt pocket and looked at it, the bloody surface staring back at him, all messy with its beauty. Jeff smiled and turned his head as he heard a girl giggling near by, holding onto a boy's arm as they headed for the forest. Jeff smiled and poised in his tree, taking a deep breath and stopping breathing as they came closer and close to him. Picking his target he dropped from the tree, stabbing the boy in the head. The girl shrieked and the few people on the street turned their head, most in time to see the knife strike the girl's heart. Jeff heard people yelling and screaming as he headed into the woods, hoping that no one had seen his face. He cursed himself again, hiding up in another tree. Slender would have been silent he thought to himself with an angry huff.
And that's a wrap!
