Untouched

It was a massive grand ballroom that had a high ceiling and thick columns going around the entire room. Mosaic tiles of the three main gods covered the ground. Paintings of devious gods and goddesses covered the top of the ceiling reminding all that this is no world for the moral, no world for the ones who care about decency and respect of hiding their body's. This was a sinful world, yet most in the room would disagree, they would more say it's a playful world with hidden pleasures and quick juicy moments. The world does have a huge part but that's not important for right now, right now a wedding is going on, an arranged wedding between the god of fire and goddess of love. Everyone in the room, even the bride and groom know this marriage is destined for chaos but Zeus (the bride's uncle) could careless of anyone's wants or desires as long as it keeps peace between the males and their longing for the colorful goddess.

Hephaestus watched as his stunning bride danced around the room, hopping from one man to the next as if she were a lioness searching for the roughest and juiciest of prey. He personally wasn't sure what to think of her. In all his life, he had probably seen the goddess maybe once or twice when he came to visit the higher powers or his mother. She was something to marvel at; slender tan body, long wavy golden hair, light blue eyes, and so much more. Her attitude was actually quite appealing for the fact that she was very charismatic and charming. The only thing he knew that flawed her was her vanity and lack of loyalty to anyone. But even with knowing all of that, he still wasn't sure if he should try and get to know her or just guard himself from her.

Aphrodite wasn't even thinking about her new husband, all her mind could focus on was the men in gold and white tunics that seemed to be every which way. She hadn't even thought about her new bond towards Hephaestus because she already knew being faithful wasn't in her agenda; she would sleep with him and love him like she's loved the rest but she will not be loyal towards him because that's a promise she can't and isn't willing to take.

Hephaestus kept on observing his bride, till a deep dark voice broke his attention. "What do you think of her?"

Hephaestus turned to face an obscurely tall man, dressed like a midnight rider who was deathly pale and had piercing sapphire eyes that made this unknown stranger even more of a mystery. "She's stunningly beautiful."

"Is that all you have to say for her?"

He thought about everything he could conjure up in his head about his new goddess but only her appearance came to mind. "It's all I can say about her. I don't know her and I'm frankly not even sure if I'd want to know her."

"You wish not to know her on the fact that her faithlessness will dig a thorn in your heart?" Hephaestus was surprised; the man didn't even have to turn his head to picture the scene behind him, of a young foolish girl, twirling like a spinning top with men of all ages surrounding her, marveling at her indescribable beauty. Was everything so obvious?

"Yes, are we both that easy to read," Hephaestus asked the stranger.

"Quite easy, you don't have to be a philosopher to understand the event playing out before us." After that they stood in silence for a few minutes, turning their attention back to the sea of people on the dance floor. Some of them we're actually swing their hips side to side like a snake to the quick pace of the flute Apollo played, other's just stood their eating and drinking, and the rest we're lost in conversation about the latest gossip or who they we're meeting up with later that night.

"Hephaestus," the man in black said.

Hephaestus looked back at the man to find his eyes already digging into his the instant they made contact. "You know my name?"

"They said your name during the wedding." He thought back to the wedding that occurred a few hours earlier and tried to search back through the crowd in his mind, he saw everyone from the very back to the near front but he couldn't see his new acquaintance anywhere among the group of people. "Anyhow, I must leave you to your night of wonders, for I have a meeting with Zeus. But it was truly a pleasure to make your acquaintance Hephaestus." He held out his hand of death to him, and Hephaestus took hold of the surprisingly warm hand in a quick yet firm handshake.

"It was nice meeting you as well. I hope your meeting goes smoothly."

He let out a dry laugh and replied, "As do I my friend, as do I." With those last words, the man from the dark slipped back into the night, heading off in the direction of Zeus's temple.

The lavish event was over and all we're now gone except the new bride and groom, who stood awkwardly in their new chambers. They stood there like lost children waiting for their parents to tell them what to do next but tonight no parents would tell these two new newlyweds what to do, for the rest of the night was theirs for the taking.

"Do you wish to begin," Aphrodite asked while wrapping her arms around herself like a safety blanket and shifting her weight from one foot to the other.

"I suppose," Hephaestus replied with uncertainty.

Though the answer wasn't very reassuring, Aphrodite still began slipping off her light cream toga anyways.

Hephaestus uncomfortably watched his new bride strip down to nothing, exposing every young full curve. It wasn't as if he had never been with a woman before, he had a few woman partners in the past but those woman we're near his same age and not so magnificent as the goddess of love.

They stared each other down from a yard away and after a minute of silence Aphrodite broke it, "Are you going to slip out of your clothes or are you going to leave me in the cold?"

"Oh yes," Hephaestus quickly took every article of clothing off and threw it to the side just like the goddess had.

"Now kiss me and love me," she barley said above a whisper. He didn't think, he just obeyed her and took a few steps and pulled her light weight body into his toned, fit chest and slowly began pressing his soft wet lips to her's.

The moment of heat lingered on as they fell onto the king size bed wrapped in each other's arms. Hephaestus settled himself on top of her and slowly entered the goddess for the first time. He took his time and let her open up to him as a flower does in the spring. After the rise of exhilaration, the climax ended and so did their moment of closeness. He took himself out of her and then fell next to her on the bed. They face each other one more time before the night ends, adding onto the allusion of their love but instead of the heart felt I love you, the night died away with a simple nod of understanding about their new life together as husband and wife.

Hey, I know it's been a lifetime since I wrote anything. I've finally had a little motivation to write, so I wrote this. I'm going to go back later and edit it even more because I'm pretty sure a lot of my tense is past tense. But this was my first ever third person piece and I think I like it. I might add on to this later if I have a chance but hope you enjoy it and I have two other piece's of Hephaestus and Aphrodite on my account. Also I deleted a lot of my stories on my account and did that because I thought they were awful. But like I said I hope you guys like it and I might add on to it later.
