Changes and Love

Grapes Rule: Well here is my first Inuyasha oneshot. I know it may not be that great but here goes nothing.

Disclaimer: This is a fanfiction so therefore it is obvious I don't own Inuyasha.

I starred. I sat alone under the starry sky. I sat with my head in my knees. I wanted to disappear. My feelings were making me so confused. Suddenly I heard footsteps coming towards me and that pulled me out of my gloomy thoughts.

"Kagome you're going to get cold." He draped a blanket over shoulders and placed himself next to me on the cold ground.

"I'll manage." I said meekly. I was grateful for the dark, this way he couldn't see me blush. "What brings you out here?" I forced myself to say. I saw the gleam of his white teeth in the shape of a smile.

"Can't I do anything nice for a change?" His smile faded.

"Sorry Inuyasha I guess I'm just not used to you being…nice." I grinned despite myself. How I longed to tell him how I loved him, even with his stupid comments and constant bickering with Shippo.

"Feh, just thought that maybe I should try something new." He slung his arm around my shoulder. My heart pounded. "You are cold." His voice was filled with concern. I made myself look into his eyes and smile.

"I am fine really."

We sat in silence for a long time, unmoving, just looking at the stars and the moon. I leaned my head upon Inuyasha's chest, letting his warmth overwhelm me. He gently stroked my hair. I closed my eyes. He drew me into a hug and positioned me so that I was facing him, facing his eyes. He leaned close, so close I felt his lips touch mine. It was light and simple. He released me reluctantly. I jumped right back on him and returned his kiss. We kept kissing not wanting to let the other go…

"I knew this would happen eventually." Sango faced Miroku who was watching Inuyasha and Kagome. "It's about time they finally showed their true emotions for each other." Miroku's gaze fell upon Sango. "Maybe it's time I told you something as well…"

"What is it Miroku?" Sango watched him. Don't you dare ask if I will bear your child.

"Sango I was… I mean I…" He gulped, "Will you marry me?" Sango gaped in shock. She regained her composure and laughed.

"Only if you never ask anyone but me to bear your child, or else!" She jumped into Miroku's arms. That was when Inuyasha and I began to watch from the doorway.

"Anything you ask…" His hand went down her back to rest on her butt. Sango's face grew red and she waked him on the head.

"Don't you dare do that again either!" She glared at the cowering Miroku and smiled. Then she gave him a kiss. Miroku stopped cowering and kissed back, with lots of passion, love, and warmth. When they finally pulled apart they saw us watching them.

"Well uh…." Miroku let Sango go. "We saw you guys so we thought we should follow suit." Miroku laughed nervously.

"Where are Kilala and Shippo?" Sango looked around the hut. Sango grinned as they came threw the door.

"Kilala and I had enough of the romance stuff so we decided to head out for a bit." Shippo said as he stood beside Sango. "You four shouldn't make out in front of the kids. OW!!!" Shippo had a huge red mark on his head. "Your so mean Inuyasha!" Inuyasha just glared.

"Don't make any stupid remarks then!" He snapped, everyone laughed. "What's so funny?" Inuyasha roared over the laughing.

"Some things never change." I said and then I kissed him on the cheek. "Hopefully some never will."
