I Promise an octo expansion story

Crimsink is an octoling that's having trouble continuing his life creating weapons for the octorian army. One day his laptop puts him in a chatroom with an inkling girl named Violet. After Crimsink is called to the frontlines, he makes a vow that he'll meet Violet in person. But when he wakes up with no memory underground, can he find his way to the light? SPOILER ALERT

1. Prologue

Prologue

I sat down at my desk and pulled up my laptop. It was a very long day working on building weapons for the octarian army. I let out a sigh and leaned back in my chair. Ever since DJ Octavio was defeated by a mysterious inkling and I heard that strange song I've been feeling different. It's almost as if I'm doubting everything I was ever taught, like somehow it's all a lie. I knew I was suppose to despise the inklings, it's because of them we octarians were banished into this vast canyon valley. All I ever hear is how one day we'll get our revenge and take over inkopolis. However I don't, well I'm not so sure I do hate the Inklings. I mean sure we were in a war with them, and sure those mysterious agents are fighting against our kind, but that was all after actions we the octarians made. I placed my hand over my face all this thinking was starting to give my a headache. The screen on my laptop lit up on its own pulled up a chatroom. "Whoa I didn't do that" the screen said I needed to enter in a username. "Oh ok" I leaned forward and typed in the username "8TenKool" and then clicked enter. I was skeptical about this whole chatroom thing, first off we have horrible wifi in Octo Canyon and two I didn't pull this up which begs the question who did. I clicked on the comment button and began to type. I typed in a quick "hello" and waited for a reply. A person with the name Herogirl10, appears then answered "hi there" I quickly type "are you the one who's done this". The person sends a question mark then says "if you mean am I the one who set up this chat room then no I'm not" I nodded then typed "Leave me alone" "whoa that came out of nowhere" I frowned the typed in all caps "LEAVE ME ALONE". The person then typed "wait hold on a second I'm sure that who ever has done this wanted us to meet for a reason" I paused for a second. I mean she did have a point why us two was this really a coincidence. I then typed back "alright then let's figure this out together".

We talked for hours about our theories and ideas on what was going on. Eventually, we both had to leave to go to bed. However we did come up with one theory we think is true, this is only the beginning.
