Prologue

September 19.

One out of twelve months.

One out of three hundred and sixty-five days.

One out of many days in life.

One out of those many days where many memories are created.

One day in which life can change drastically, for the better or for the worse.

September nineteen. This is the day in which my life changed.

September nineteen, this is the very day of my birth.

I was naïve and never saw the changes for what were. But now, having gone through everything, I see it for what it really is — pain, suffering and destruction. But if there's one thing that I've learned over the past year, it is that everything in life always has two sides, a positive and a negative. My birth is definitely one of those things. It can be considered both a good thing and a bad thing. Of course, everyone is entitled to their own opinions. That is why I leave it up to you to decide whether not the changes in my life were for the better or for the worse. Though if it were up to me — well, let's just say that just because I see all the anguish life has to offer, doesn't mean I don't see the love.

So remember this:

September nineteenth may be a day where a lot of horrible things announced it's appearances in my life, but it is also a day that paved a path towards gaining new friendships and ultimately, meeting my one true love.

Just in case you didn't know, POAP is being rewritten. And earlier I posted an A/N on POAP explaining my reasons for why I decided to rewrite it. So go on over there to check out my note if you're interested in my reasonings. Otherwise, you can stay here and provide me with some feedback on whether this is a good start. I'm pretty rusty in the writing category, so I honestly have no idea if this is good enough. So review and let me know what your thoughts are (:
