Anniversary Gifts
Summary: Turles work hard to make his and Goku's wedding anniversary perfect. He figures out the perfect gift to give to his husband. Only maybe he might get something even more precious even though they haven't really found time to talk about it.
Double checking the dinner and gift he pick out for his mate, Turles hums rather please with himself. He hope his mate will like the gift that it taken him awhile to find. He hopes that Goku would like it. He glance up hearing Goku waken up from his nap. He notice that his dear little mate hasn't been feeling well for the past couple of weeks but he didn't think much of it. Why should he? It's probably fatigue that he's going through.
He places the food on some plates to take upstairs. Why should they go out on their anniversary? Sure they could see their prince and his mate along with their cub another day. It's just perfect to be the two of them. The thought of a little one did cross his mind but with how life is right now it seems really good.
He shakes his head clearing his mind reaching the bedroom door finding Goku putting on some cleaner clothes. He clears his throat through making the submissive saiyan to look up. Goku gives a small smile in greeting.
"Hey Turles," Goku whispers shyly shuffling his feet rather relieve to feel a bit better and the nausea not so bad right now.
"Kakorat," Turles answers using his mate's true name making the slightly smaller man flush with pleasure seeing the loving look in the normal icy looking eyes that most of the world sees outside of their home.
Goku hopes that his mate won't mind children. He suspected already he may be carrying already which he had confirmed a few days earlier. He been having a hard time trying to keep his mouth shut for these past couple days which is hard to do for him.
"Happy anniversary Kakorat," Turles said placing the food on the bed and grabs Goku in his arms nuzzling his neck loving the purr passing the saiyan's.
"Happy Anniversary, Turles," Goku reply before adding almost hesitantly," say Turles what do you think of kids?"
'Hn? You mean in general or having some of my own?"
"Both," Goku stares at the floor waiting for the other saiyan to speak obviously thinking carefully on what to say.
"In general they are a royal pain though necessary for our society to prosper. My own it be nice to see the line continue and produce strong saiyans. Why do you ask?"
"How do you feel of us having our own cub later on down the road hum more like later on this year really?" Goku whispers taking his mate's hand and place it on his still flat stomach making Turles to tighten his hold subconsciously and gasp taking in the implication.
"You mean…"
"Yeah," Goku said giving a shy smile turning to look at his mate seeing the love and tenderness flutter in his eyes and face.
"A cub of our own," Turles muse letting a wide smile tug on his lips. He tilts Goku's head back and kisses him.
Both wonder how the future will be known that a little one will come along. It's the best gift he could have receive and realize it's not just his gift but also Goku. In a way this cub is their anniversary gifts which neither would have expected.
