Percy POV

At last everything was back to normal. I was back at Camp Half-Blood with Annabeth and we had to save the world. Yep comptley normal.

I had been back at Camp Half-Blood for a day and we were almost ready to leave. I felt a bit sad because my dad had still not contacted me. I know Zeus said that the gods weren't allowed to any contacted with us, but when has my dad ever followed his rule. I'm here aren't I?

As I was walking to the the ship I realized there was a huge crowed near the beach. Fearing the worst I ran toward them as fast as I could (which wasn't that fast). When I got there I realized it was my dad. "There you are Percy, my boy. How have you been?" Poseidon asked his voice deep and a lazy smile on his face. Anger bubbled inside of me. I was away from my family and friends for 8 months and he knew about it and did nothing to stop it then he has the nerve to ask how I was! Anger expanded inside my chest until I couldn't hold it in any longer.

Jason's POV

I watched Percy as his face turned red in anger then he turned expressionless which was even scarier then Clarisse when she's mad. I quickly decided that Percy will NOT be pleased by his dad being here, though I didn't know why. If my dad had bothered to show up I would show proper respect to him, though Percy always plays by his own rules. I thought Percy was just going to bow and continue on with loading Leo's ship when he burst.

"Oh yeah NOW you show up just when I'm about to save your godly but AGAIN." He yelled

"Percy" Poseidon said softly. I was surprised I thought he would be mad.

"No, you don't care at all do you?"

"Of course I care Percy you are my favorite son after all" I was surprised I knew Poseidon loved Percy, but to say he's your favorite son, just wow.

"No you don't if you cared you wouldn't have let Hera lock me up."

"Percy"

"But you did. Why? To save your godly behind that's why. You didn't care that I might have felt lost or confused or lonely, showing up at a strange camp all alone. But as long as you were safe it was all O.K because we are just weapons in your mind. Fun to play with but easy to replace."

"Percy that's not it at all." Poseidon pleaded his eyes started to shimmer.

"You knew what was happening the whole time but you didn't bother to help did you. No because either you 'needed' this to happen or you were too busy to take notice."

"Percy it was neither. It hurt like hell to let Hera take you. And buy the time she did it was too late to help you the fates had already decided what would happen and you know you can't change those stubborn little girls' minds."

Randomly Percy started to laugh. "I would hardly call them little dad."

Poseidon's eyes shone with happiness "so I'm forgiven?"

"Course, just try to convince Uncle Zeus to fight with us"

"Will do, even if it has a golden net, hmmmmmmmm but this time it should be green that's such a nicer color."

"Bye dad" Percy said as his checks grew red from embarrassment.

"See you on the battle field Percy, and don't die before then" Poseidon joked but I could feel some seriousness there.

We averted our eyes as Poseidon teleported. Percy then walked off like nothing happened. As I stared at Percy's retreating form I realized that Percy was special, but not in the Hero type way. He turned living as a demigod into something somewhat normal. If you could ignore the war. I sighed and thought "these Greeks are really starting to mess with my head" as I jogged off to find Piper and Leo.
