Percy is in Annabeth's cabin after the 2nd titan war and finds a letter addressed to him and reads it. Little does he know it was only intended for him to read if Annabeth happened to die in the war. (I do not own PJO or any of the characters in this fanfic)

(Oh and the whole kiss thing at the end of TLO didn't happen, Percy and Annabeth are still just friends)

If you are reading this then it means that I died in the war against Kronos. I am sorry. I didn't want things to end up like this, but I want you to know how I really feel about you, so here it goes… Percy ever since we were 12 years old and I was taking care of you in the infirmary I knew you were special. There just was something about you that made me feel butterflies in my stomach whenever I was around you. I know you probably think this is cheesy but it was love at first sight. I really love you seaweed brain and I am sorry I didn't have the guts to tell you this in person.

"Percy? What are you doing in my cabin? Wait, what is that!"

Oh shoot. "Oh um hey Annabeth, whats' up?" Crap I'm really in for it this time.

"PERSEUS JACKSON WHAT ARE YOU DOING READING THAT!"

"Well it was addressed to me so I figured that I should read it" I smiled sheepishly.

"Ugh what am I going to do with you?" I could tell that she was trying hard not to smile.

"Annabeth?"

"Yes?"

She took a deep breath "yes Percy I am head over heels in love with you, I know you probably don't feel the same way bu…"

That's when I shut her up with a deep passionate kiss. I was the best feeling in the whole entire world. I wish we could have stayed that way forever, but sadly we still had to breath since we were only half god. "Annabeth I love you too." I said as a huge grin crept up my face.

"Oh gods Percy you have know idea how long I have waited to hear that" and with that we kissed again. Wow am I glad I read that letter.
